Most overpaid athletes in NFL history

This is a pretty lazy thread OP. If you truly wanted a real discussion you would have put some work in and at least taken a few of the biggest over paid players over the years and came up with some sort of framework (IDK maybe dak has made x% during his career over the qb avg salary during that time) that we could all use to discuss.

Playoffs is only one category.

If you're asking the least succesful playoff QB for the money, Dak might be close to the top of the list, though there's definitely a few gnawing at the chains. Daniel Jones was a worse deal. Herbort deal ranks up there, though Harby might well be turning that around.
To each his own, but for me the #1 category for QB is post season. Especially if the QB gets chances and just flops under pressure.
Jones and Herbert haven't been paid as much as Dak and aren't on the top 10 list.

This thread asked about the most overpaid, not the highest paid.

Cowboys do get returns from Dak. There were no returns from Russell, and almost none from Watson. Both were worse than Dak.
It isn't even close. Had Denver known Russell was washed up, they wouldn't have made the trade, let alone give him a fat raise.

The Browns are getting absolutely nothing for their 230M.

Carson Wentz is another one. He got a big extension, and they traded him before he played the first year.

Well the difference is they wasted just 2 years on him whereas Dak will drain the franchise's lifeblood for a decade plus.
Dak has production.

Hey, I'm not a Dak fan either, but we're discussing rating which ones are worse deals. Dak is not the worst, and several have been named that are obviously worse.

Oh, hades, I was talking about Jamarcus Russell, but Russell Wilson was also a bad deal!!!!!

Wentz, yup.

Yes, but that is not what this thread is asking.

Jones might well be 2nd on the list behind Good ol' Peepee Slap.

Yeah, if your only purpose is to bash Dak, then just say so and people can then make the choice to enter the thread or not.

He is literally the worst in terms of post season production for the highest paid players. It's not even an opinion, it's numbers

I know exactly who you were talking about. First round pick by the Raiders. That reminded me of Wilson.

Not what the thread is asking.

And the elephant in the room, PeepeeSlap. Much worse.

Jamarcus was paid a king's ransome and had zero playoff success. Daniel Jones, same thing.

He's really not close to the worst.

You may want to read the OP again because it sounds like you didn't.
