Play with words, now. What was stated hasn't improved nor achievements to get to those playoffs 3 consecutive seasons. Best in the NFL, no. Respectable, you bet. I don't also have to justify stating that point nor apologize for doing just that. Want an argument...go ahead and start it.sorry... I meant a contender and not a pretender
So true hazeIt amazes me that even some of the teams beneath us have actually exceeded us by going to a conference championship game. Like the Jaguars, lions, bears, and commanders.
Only the dolphins, browns and Cowboys haven’t been to a conference championship game this century.
Thanks again Jerry for being consistent.

But don't use a single Jerry this or that nor tears around a 30 year old calendars.

I didn't think anyone would take 1st statement literally since it's evident that we had 3 straight post season berths.
BTW.....Dak Prescott was 7 years old and Tony Romo was a college sophomore
If you're anything under 40 years old you have no memory of this so called "greatness". You really think people get excited watching faded highlight reels? Why not go back to the beginning of the franchise? Why only 2000? As bad as they been since 2000 they were great before that so it all balances out
30 years homerWill McClay has been one of the key figures in the Cowboys’ personnel decisions since 2014, and his influence on the draft in the same span is significant.
Known for his sharp scouting eye and player evaluation skills, McClay and his team are tasked with identifying talent that can make an immediate impact on the field.
Under his leadership, the Cowboys have had some success in the draft, most notably in the first round, but also in the later rounds and undrafted players. Gems like CB DaRon Bland and QB Dak Prescott come to mind.

His record in the 2nd round could be put to test although.
