Yeah, I have the Droid.

It's awesome.

pretty much similiar to the Iphone, but I personally think it's faster than the Iphone. The browser on it is really fast.

My findings were actually the opposite.

I found the Droid interface to be clunky and slow.

sure, I would love to know anything else I might need to get for this phone!

  • The xScope browser (Lite free, and a pay version) is easily the first app you should download. It blows away the Google Browser
  • Compass: Owns for when I come out of a subway I don't use often to get my barrings straight. Free
  • Password Safe Lite: Keeps my passwords and other info I want to keep locked up. Free
  • Pageonce's Personal Assistant: You can review your banking accounts transactions quickly among other things and it's free, but I think there is a pay version too.
  • Shot (2nd, 3rd): Three updated versions. A great game when you just need to burn a few minutes. Free
  • ConnectBot: A nice ssh client (if you use Linux or Unix) Free
  • SpeedXGalagus: A recreation of the old arcade game Galaga - Free
  • Robo Defense: A very cool game, there is a free and a pay version. Always get free versions first. If you like it, you can always upgrade.
  • Labyrinth Lite: Fun game to burn time with too. Free version and pay version
  • Coloroid: Another time burning game that requires thinking. Free
  • Chess for Android: If you like Chess this is a good one
  • Advanced Task Killer: Kills apps that don't have exit buttons. Free. If you upgrade to the full xScope browers you don't need this.
  • ASTRO File Manager if you don't like xScope's file manager. (I have both, but use xScope's)
  • Klondike Solitaire: If you like Klondike Solitaire
  • As noted earlier, HomeRun Battle 3D is $4.99, but very good. You can play online against other players. I usually only do this when connected to WiFi though. I haven't tried it using G3 though.

There are a few bejeweled type games, but I haven't found one that is anywhere near as good as the Bejeweled game you find online. The one made by I believe Popcap.

Try xScope browser. I like Dolphin too, but xScope just rocks.

I will checkout Key Ring. Thanks for the tip.
