- The xScope browser (Lite free, and a pay version) is easily the first app you should download. It blows away the Google Browser
- Compass: Owns for when I come out of a subway I don't use often to get my barrings straight. Free
- Password Safe Lite: Keeps my passwords and other info I want to keep locked up. Free
- Pageonce's Personal Assistant: You can review your banking accounts transactions quickly among other things and it's free, but I think there is a pay version too.
- Shot (2nd, 3rd): Three updated versions. A great game when you just need to burn a few minutes. Free
- ConnectBot: A nice ssh client (if you use Linux or Unix) Free
- SpeedXGalagus: A recreation of the old arcade game Galaga - Free
- Robo Defense: A very cool game, there is a free and a pay version. Always get free versions first. If you like it, you can always upgrade.
- Labyrinth Lite: Fun game to burn time with too. Free version and pay version
- Coloroid: Another time burning game that requires thinking. Free
- Chess for Android: If you like Chess this is a good one
- Advanced Task Killer: Kills apps that don't have exit buttons. Free. If you upgrade to the full xScope browers you don't need this.
- ASTRO File Manager if you don't like xScope's file manager. (I have both, but use xScope's)
- Klondike Solitaire: If you like Klondike Solitaire
- As noted earlier, HomeRun Battle 3D is $4.99, but very good. You can play online against other players. I usually only do this when connected to WiFi though. I haven't tried it using G3 though.
There are a few bejeweled type games, but I haven't found one that is anywhere near as good as the Bejeweled game you find online. The one made by I believe Popcap.
