Moving on from Beasley

he didn't have to overwhelm with Romo. Romo made everyone better, including making Dez look competent and Laurent Robinson look like a #1 receiver. He did what was needed, a bit extra and an unusual weapon, but wasn't really necessary. Instead, he made a half competent bus driver almost look like an all pro in 2016
Gotcha. Romo was too busy making everyone else look better than they were, but didn’t need to with Coke. Cole knew that and conserved his energy until he could make Dak look great for a yr and then went in hibernation again. Dastardly plan indeed

You're really not very bright, are you? Either that, or your IQ is just so low that your reading comprehension level is the equivalent of one of my dogs. Cole wasn't necessary during the Romo years. he wasn't NEEDED, just an extra target on occasion. With Dak, he's a requirement, because Dak isn't good enough to make anyone around him better, everyone around him has to make Dak look halfway competent.

Gotcha. Was Laurent Robinson necessary?

Was Cole not necessary this year? Did he not put in the hard work some fans hate this year?

You said something dumb. You said you could prove something dumb. You can’t, so you’re doubling down which is admirable, but you’re really not in any position to question anyone else’s intellect when you can barely form a coherent argument. If you’re slow, I apologize. Perhaps I could talk to your handler?

Actually, Robinson was necessary. He was a #2 quality receiver, but Romo made him look like (and get paid like) a #1. Cole was and is still necessary. Dak, however, was easily figured out by defensive coordinators.

You're the single least intelligent person alive. Literally, the single least intelligent. It must be embarrassing.

No. No he wasn’t. He was a scrub before and after one solid year. He wasn’t anymore ‘necessary’ than Cole that year as we had Dez, Miles and Witt. He caught lightning in a bottle for one year. He wasn’t a quality number 2 or necessary. You’re a buffoon. And we can really gloss over your lack of critical thinking and argument constructing skills, your elementary insults and circle back to your original (terrible) point. There are no cowboy fans ‘offended’ by Cole Beasley’s hard work. None. There’s really no point in entertaining you any more because it’s not fun. Again though, I apologize if you’re disabled

Beasley is a very good player and you only move on if you have a replacement.
Switzer would need to step up and earn the snaps. To just get rid of Beasley simply because we drafted a player is silly.

....Which Switzer hasn't done. He hasn't proven anything yet. If he want to beat out the Bease, he's gonna have to put on his big boy pants.
Beasley is a good player and he's tough as nails.

I still remember when he got his face twisted 180 degrees. I thought his neck was broken. Popped up like nothing happened.

Yeah, you're too stupid to live, much less post. Welcome to ignore, idiot.

.....I’d wager, personally, that a handful of fans are disappointed in how easily Beasley was neutralized, and/or recognize his one impressive season as an outlier. I love the guy, but it’s hard to really champion one 800 yd season in a career.

Our OL had problems all year, the pass protection suffered, the running game suffered, Zeke was suspended, and Dak was pressured more and had more sacks. Defenses started double covering our previous year's leading receiver Beasley. If Dez was catching the ball that would've taken some pressure off Beasley, but Dez wasn't doing squat. That's why they're trying to cut his salary.

All those problems this team had last year and yet your biggest concern is the previous year's leading receiver. He was a beast in 2016, and his presumed replacement Switzer has done very little and proven nothing.

Give the kid a break!
If the Boys get their act together this year and Beasley's production tanks, I'll be 1st in line to call for a replacement. But right now I think you're jumping the gun on a good ball player Proof.

I realize the offseason is really hard on some people, but geeezzz! Give the kid a break!

Nope. I like the bease. Don’t want him gone and I’m not advocating it. On message boards (especially after a frustrating season) sometimes you get backed into arguing a position you’re not even necessarily trying to make. Dude was trashing Dez, Dak, other fans etc but championing Cole and pointing out how irrational it is painted me into a corner.

Got it. That's cool.

I know!!! Kid has taken some vicious hits and still popped back up like nothing happened! He gets up and just shakes it off!

Ha-Ha? in the world of ballistic riflery, that chalk board hanging mo-fo #11 is a 22-250 lethal hyper velocity hurting unit to Field against' the foe's! ,,,now, the coin-flip between the .300 win mags of #88' s?

Your theory on why people have suggested cutting Beasley was idiotic. No one wants him out because they are offended he’s a hard worker.

He would save over 3MM in cap space, they have a replacement on the roster and as noted his production has been random.

Beasley isn't going anywhere because he's the only reliable route runner and pass catcher Dak has outside of the aging slow Witten.
Beasley is not that expense and if our idiotic coaches can figure out how to beat double coverage on him, he will shine again. Time for
Witten to go and get some speed at the TE position.

I've seen this idea pop up in quite a few threads lately. I'm not sure what spawned this. Admittedly with being in vacation last week and some other personal business, I haven't been as plugged in as usual, but where did this come from?

Did a coach or FO person allude to something I missed? Is it people just wanting change for the sake of change? Do you believe the difference in play between Switzer and Beasley is negligible and therefore are ready to pass the torch?

Can someone shed a lite light and share their opinions on this? I sincerely don't get it. I like Beas. I like his attitude, his work ethic and his skill set. He's one of the few real "gamers" we have on offense.

So, clue me in, please.
That’s the kind of statement common here and only here. There’s some really stupid people who post here.
