Would rather have Baker than Dak. He’s playing awesome
It's just another example of teams not needing the expensive Franchise QB to be successful. If you dont have an elite individual game winner, dont overpay for next tier. It's amazing how these: Mayfield, Wilsons, Darnold, Goff, Hurts (and Dak), all improve, when the QB's CAP Hits are low. Unfortunately, for us, Dak's low CAP hit was last season (hence the decent roster we had).....this year, he's up from 11.7% to 17.2%.....and it's getting higher with the extension and the $40m Dead Money).

The players want to win they’re fighting for their jobs, these tanking people are ridiculous
Can you stop with this tanking crap. Lol it’s embarrassing and it’s not going to help.
If coaching team was coming back, then you may have a point, but they're not. What the players do now is pretty immaterial (especially with Jerry appearing to already be mailing in 2025), bring them back with new coaching and systems and let the new coaching team evaluate them under their system requirements next year.

On the other hand, I doubt the teams behind us in the 'draft table' are going to win enough games to overtake us and improve our position......we're stuck in some kind of no-mans-land, waiting for 2025, hopefully some individuals getting acclimatized to the requirements of the NFL.

The biggest factor for change into next season are the many injured players and the medical team's projections. This applies to a number top players and even their retentions.

Lawrence, Martin, Cooks, Lewis...of the older parts.

Yep, I suppose these games gives our next HC a look at what we've got inhouse as I cant see us retaining any of those older vets who'll probably get overpaid on the open market.
.....again, the problem is that we're expecting (hoping) for a new HC and coaching team, so there's little effect on scheme continuity....though yes we can hopefully get some experience from the bottom end of the roster.

Even if the players didn’t come back, it’s on their resume they didn’t quit
