After 8 mos of job hunting... I've finally landed one. I'm moving back to FW this friday. I havent been there in over 5 yrs and even then I had kids. I'm an empty nester with evenings and weekends open. I need idea's of places to go, things to see, and where to party and eat. All suggestions appreciated

P.S. I'll be back on the internet in time for next Thursday night.

I've only been to Fort Worth once in my life, so I'm pretty much useless when it comes to your questions... aw heck, let's face, I'm generally pretty useless...

The Stockyards area is full of resturants. And you used to be able to buy cows there, so it counts as shopping also.

I'll probably regret asking but... what is the Jolly Roger?

One Of the perks of my job is having a boss that takes his management team to sporting events. I already know that we are scheduled to go to a Cowboys game and Rangers game and l already have a ticket for nascar in November.

It depends on where in Ft. Worth you move to. Far North Ft Worth by the Speedway is pretty lean on shopping right now. Businesses have not caught up to the increasing housing in this area. However, Keller has a lot of good areas to shop as well as good restaurants. If you like decent seafood, Joe's Crabshack on I35 in North Ft Worth is pretty good.

BTW, the last time I went to the Speedway, I walked over from my subdivision. Less than a mile from our subdivision's back entrance.
