MRI for Dez

My fear is an MCL sprain, the way his knee bent is exactly what happened to Wilson today.

Yeah, it'll be MCL; depends on if it's greater than first degree. Could also have torn the lateral meniscus with that type and angle of impact.
Wilson's was worse, though; his impact was more perpendicular, whereas Dez had a more oblique angle and should have less damage.

I think it wont be anything worse than a MCL sprain. He did return to the game albeit he wasn't much of a factor. However, it's still bad enough to warrant an MRI, and until the results become official I'm scared.

Strangely enough the Dak 'n Dunk style is not terribly dependent on Dez, as long as we are running like we did tonight (with no Tyron, at that). I would like to think we could survive a few games. Hope this ain't serious.

Against the Chicago defense the Wing T would have looked like a viable offense. The only good thing from the Chicago game is it allowed Dak to open things up a bit I will be surprised if that defense is ranked well above Dallas's at the end of the season.

We can play this same style vs sf.

i am not sure we can play this style vs Cincy and GB. They are going to score on us and we will need to be aggressive in the passing game. If we beat sf and split with cincy/gb this team will be all set with #9 coming back.

I don't think there's anything to worry about, Dez did come back, and played like Dez would. Scoring a TD in the process. At worst he won't practice all week long, but if he was able to play the rest of this game, he'll be able to play next week.

Thanks Doc...I think. :(

It looked like his ankle in the replay (but it was his knee) and it looked bad. He scored an athletic TD later on. Most guys would not have scored there. I hope that's a sign he's OK.

I hope he's ok. He did come back and finished the game so thats a good sign. Maybe the MRI is just a precaution.
