What is hell is Microsoft thinking? They can't compete in the mobile market and then they want to start a war over mobile devices? Considering it's Motorola, did they think it would stop there?!?!?

Well not started on, but their first major product MS-DOS was acquired (QDOS) for $50,000 from Tim Paterson. Prior to that, MS was writing BASIC for different systems.

MS-DOS was the key to their future though.
