14 points will not get it done ever. We don't even threaten the end zone in the redzone. Our passing game is conservative to the point of absurdity. We are trying to run a Patriot offense without the 80% slot receiver. We are forcing routs to Witten and he does nothing to threaten the defense.

The best player in the charger back eight is Weddle and he handled Witten easily. If Williams has one on one we need to hit him for a deep or intermediate throw 8 yard hitches won't get it done.

everything that is wrong with the offense right now is coaching. everything.

The one constant has been Garrett on offense. We have the players to be successful but not the coaching.

Well one thing is true, Callahan is running this dink and dunk offense which is supposed to make Romo have less mistakes, but at some point you have to make plays. If there was a big problem on offense in this game, its what plays were being called.....cause I was absolutely disgusted with the dink and dunk.

At what point do we see the off-season plan of attack get abandoned and revert back to last year? That is if things don't change, especially on offense. I think it is inevitable if the current problems continue.

Maybe I am wrong and they stick with it, do or die. Callahan better be brushing up on his debating skills, he will need them after the last game of the season.

If Murray gets anywhere near catching 85 balls....then this team will stink!

I blame it on not having an answer for these teams playing soft defenses.

We don't have a lot of player issues. We just can't scheme our way past these soft defensive schemes.

Chargers had the worst pass D in the league and they ran the same scheme everyone else does against us and we struggled just like we have every week.

The sad thing is we won't face a weaker defensive backfield all season.

Well every game is different, but in this one you just can't fault the offense. The D couldn't get off the field cause they couldn't stop Rivers from going nuts on them.

Anyone who wants to bring up issues with the offense is just trying to push some agenda they have had for forever......the problem with this team yesterday was the D, Carter and Mo don't get a pass anymore, they sucked yesterday along with the rest of the D.

If you want Bruce Carter, who by the way is probably one of the fastest players at LB in the whole NFL, to cover receivers, that will not work. If you think he sux, because he can't run with Woodhead, then you're nuts. Carter is a beast LB, not a safety. Mo will be fine. Two systems in two years, and playing hurt. He was drafted for his man cover skills and is now playing zone. It takes time to learn the tampa zone secondary. Why do you think Rondae Barber can still play safety? He's like 40 and is very valuable because of the reads and experience in zone cover.

San Diego did a good job of creating matchups. Carter on Woodhead. Lee on Gates.

Maybe our coaching staff can learn from SD how create some mismatches of our own.

Why doesn't this team throw the long ball, at least once in a while? We have a beast in Bryant. Let him beast out like Megatron in Detroit. At least, give opposing defenses something to think about.

I don't care how fast Carter is, if he can't use it on a football field its useless. Listen, I've seen some potential in the guy and not willing to give up on him, but he was pretty bad yesterday. Point blank, he has to play better....I mean guys on here was hyping him as some automatic Pro Bowler, last night he was a JAG.

I will have their back when they play well, but I will also tell the truth when they play bad.....and yes Carter was a liability out there yesterday. Mo also has to step up his game, along with Lee. Thats the young core of our D, and they all looked like a bunch of zombies out there yesterday. They have to step up, period.

I know it's only been 4 games, however, Demarco Murray is on pace for:

1424 yards rushing @ 4.9 ypc

I find it hard to complain about the running game.

DeMarco Murray also projects to have 4 rushing touchdowns for the season going by his current turtle pace.

I find that quite easy to complain about.

Murray has never displayed a nose for the end zone (7 career rushing TDs) since joining the team. Even when Murray erupted on the scene midway through his rookie season, totaling 601 rushing yards in four games while averaging 8.01 yards per carry, the rushing touchdowns were elusive.

Murray scored but twice in that span, his only touchdowns that entire season.

It's an issue.

Absolutely.

Yes, the Dallas defense got worked in the second half and was the primary culprit, but the offense didn't do enough, either.

Did u see Phillip wheeler getting torched by wrs last night?

Wr > lb anyDay. Anyone anywhere. Carter speed shows all the time.

Other teams get these matchups. Our offensive system\players\schemes need to figure this out also.

You do realize that without the pick six this offense only managed two TD's against a very suspect defense? Is burying your head in the sand when it comes to this offense any worse than pushing some sort of agenda?
