Murray inactive

Interesting the only season that he made it a full year was when he was playing for a new contract

I just don't believe a tweaked hammy is correlated to carries from a year ago.
These injuries happen to many players regardless of their previous workload.

Is or isn't... we will never know.

What we do know though is that going back to college, he has had numerous nicks and pulls that have kept him out of a significant number of games. And we know that last year was the first season that he ever played when he didn't miss significant time.

Well...when Matthews looks decent today...it is going to stir more controversy in Philly...lol

The hamstring tweak is just the excuse. They are happy to have him inactive because he isn't getting it done. He doesn't fit and Chip now knows it.

And yet they happen FAR more often to guys who've had that many touches. The body breaks down, and they miss considerable time the following year, or are hampered by injuries and perform poorly. Or maybe he and just about everyone else with that many touches is just unlucky.

It's going to be a long season for him. Maybe the Eagles will cut him after this year and we can bring him back for the vet minimum, since he'll be bringing all that guaranteed Philly money with him.

Why would you cut a guy if you had guaranteed money invested in him?

An infographic of my seemingly bold preseason prediction that McFadden would outrush Murray:

The top one is McFadden, you can tell because at least he's out of his shell.

Leaving Philly fans scratching their heads..... He's been active?
