Murray or Gordon

I like Coleman but he runs like Mcfadden and guys like that wont last in the NFL.

Demarco Murray is a straight up runner and this time and day when you can get a productive Rookie Runningback on a low 4 year deal and use him those 4 years than at age 26 you might be moving on anyway with the low premium on Runningbacks. So the question on whether they last long anymore probably doesn't really matter if you get a productive 4 years you maybe done with them when they bargian for their 2nd contract....ala Murray.

gurley will be had in the 2nd or 3rd round...

or my boy Duke Johnson from the U... theirs defiantly top notch replacement to be had once we spend our top pics on the Defense!!

Duke is injury prone. I like his speed but he is fragile as all get out.

I thought this was a thread about keeping DeMarco Murray, or bringing in Josh Gordon.

I'll still pass on both.

Telvin Coleman is my pick in the second. The guy is a Murray clone. Would do what Murray does but at a cheaper price tag. As for going all out on defense, it really depends what we do in free agency. Don't know if the figures are right, but we could easily be 30 million (maybe more) by restructuring Tyron Smith's contract and not picking up the option on Melton.

I think Gurley will be better than Gordon. I'd sure up our defensive line then take Gurley (who is recovering from an ACL injury) in the second.

Gurley won't be there in the 2nd when we select though. He's the best runningback prospect in the country. So someone is taking him in the 1st round.

Recovering from a torn ACL? Trams with higher draft choices are generally looking for immediate help. Gurley's situation is more suited to a team drafting lower in the first round or maybe even high second.
But we shall see.

Gurley or Melvin might not be first rounders. But they definitely are not dropping to our second round slot.
Coleman may even be off the board in the second also.

The Cowboys need to go for it in 2015. Gurley does not help with that. Obviously, if he falls far enough he has value for the future, but taking him in the 2nd if he can't play in 2015 seems like a luxury.

Gordon would not do well in Dallas' zone running scheme. Wisconsin utilizes a power running scheme

Honestly I like Demarco Murray but honestly I might be tempted to take those monies and use them in Free Agency on the Defense than look for Melvin Gordon from Wisconsin at #27. You get a young bacl locked up for a cheap 4 year contract that in my feeling

Defence, Defence, Defence. We do not need to waste our picks with Offensive players early in the draft. Why is everyone even worried about losing Demarco, let him walk if the price is not right for us. We have Ryan Williams sitting on the practice roster that can get the job done with Randle and Dunbar. We are just fine at running back.

Draft is deep in RB's that could get 1,000 behind this line. Question is, which one can block?

Jay Ajayi. I just posted a thread about him before I saw this one.
