Defense shut the Texans down almost the entire game. Had the offense had produced, the Texans would have become one dimensional towards the pass, and they were struggling passing all day. They probably wouldn't have scored much.

This defense isn't a prolific defense, but put in the right place, they can do well.
This defense is legit. 44-5 says it all. This season is headed for some heights.

Obviously not in the 4th quarter. Texans have had offensive issues this year. Really hadn't ran the ball that well till this week. Passing game has been inconsistent. Seattle will probably expose our defense a lot next week. But Seattle is a freakin powerhouse right now. Not to mention that the offenses in the NFC East have all looked like kinda bad match-ups for our defense. The defense has talent deficiencies. I credit the coaching this year turning things around to where they are playing decent ball. But I also know if the offense has a down game the defense ain't gonna come close to winning games for Dallas.

Now lets offer him a weak contract and plug Randall and dunbar in his place; we wont miss a beat.

Apologies, couldn't help it, still cant believe people want to let young talent go.

Apologize? You must be kidding.

Fumbles, Health and an Oline with three #1s that will have many RB doing the same. 3 reasons to let him fobble on his way to another overpaying team. Far from a franchise back.

Reading is fundamental.

Didn't say he was a franchise back but Im not paying him so can't say his worth, what I will say is that he made an awful lot of yards today after being hit, he runs hard and looking over his injury history his only year missing any real time was his rookie year I believe. Probably wrong but if his line makes him tthen Barry Sanders is a better running back than Emmitt Smith..... And no way of Gods green earth I believe that!

As far as fumbling that can be coached out of him.

He was having 100 and 200 yard + games back when we just had Tyron Smith...

I'm not saying the guy is all world, but one thing he does do is he keeps his feet moving. Too many backs today don't do that. It makes a big difference...

No one wants to let him go but some realize they simply can't pay him $8 million a year for 5 years. If that's what he demands, he will have to be given the chance to get it elsewhere. If he can be had for a reasonable amount, everyone will be happy to retain him.

We I am glad you are not putting him there with Smith and Sanders. That's a joke.
He has played 37/48 games missing 23% in his first 3 years
It's been noted that he is at the top of yardage before being touched and considering the touches, it speaks highly of the line.

If the fumbles haven't stopped when you have them 5 out of the last 6 game, don't expect it to be coached out of him.

You're right. I am not saying the guy is terrible. There's a reason he was available in the 3rd despite the production in college. He is 6'2 and runs 4.3. He just can't put it all together. That's his career. I wouldn't invest in this guy for another contract.
