Defense shut the Texans down almost the entire game. Had the offense had produced, the Texans would have become one dimensional towards the pass, and they were struggling passing all day. They probably wouldn't have scored much.

This defense isn't a prolific defense, but put in the right place, they can do well.

well said.....

We I am glad you are not putting him there with Smith and Sanders. That's a joke.
He has played 37/48 games missing 23% in his first 3 years
It's been noted that he is at the top of yardage before being touched and considering the touches, it speaks highly of the line.

If the fumbles haven't stopped when you have them 5 out of the last 6 game, don't expect it to be coached out of him.

Well I remember Tiki Barber aving the same problem, at the most inoppurtune moments and it was coached out of him and he was a lot further along in his career than Murray att the time.

Tiki never won a SuperBowl. He broke their hearts with his fumbles for 7 years before those numbers dropped. They won the year after he left.

I say let Murray walk now. We'll be better off when this team is ready for a playoff run.

Five consecutive games with 100+ yards rushing.

Breaks the record of 4 straight (Dorsett, 1979; Smith, 1995)

Dallas is now 44-5 with Romo when the team has 100+ yards rushing and the opponent is held under 30 points.

Don't let this guy go. He will fix the loaf of bread issue. Don't let this guy go!

Which proves one thing.

This guy is better than Tony Dorsett and Emmitt Smith.

And that statistics are like prisoners, torture them enough and they'll tell you whatever you want to hear...

That's hard to believe that Smith never had more than 4 games in a row of 100 yards.... Good job Murray! Now hold on to the ball.

It is. But then again the passing game was pretty good on that team

Doesn't matter, the five straight 100-yard games is still a team record.

But the context of the statement is the comparison among Simpson and Brown. If it's five straight 100-yard game AND a touchdown, then Murray isn't in that category because he didn't score a touchdown in this game.

Yes. Let him walk now before Seattle so we can see if romo can take a wicked beating when his replacement fails to pick up the blitz.

That way we will know how strong romo back is, and likely we will also find out if we can win with weedon.

Brown and Simpson have no effect Murray's franchise record.

I understand that. But a poster(s) took the conversation out of the franchise record discussion by saying Murray compares to Jim Brown and O.J. Simpson because they all rushed for 100 yards in the first five games. Then other posters said, that citation was incorrect because it should be five straight games AND a touchdown.

And then I said by way of a question that Murray did not score a touchdown today.

You may have meant this to be a conversation about the franchise record. But other posters expanded the angle of your post by introducing comparisons to Brown and Simpson. And last time I checked, they didn't ever play for the Cowboys. :)

If we don't kill ourselves, we can beat most teams in this league.

Let's be real. The only winning team we have played is the 49ers, who blew us out. We nearly gave away the game against the Rams and the Texans.
