Never saw Duane before his death, too young...but growing up here in Dallas saw SRV at least a dozen times, including his last Dallas show at The Fair Park Coliseum, Dec/89.

Would have been something to see those two side-by-side.

Yeah, that would be interesting. I'd have loved to have heard and now see Clapton and Duane together more often. And I wonder how many more slide guitarists we'd have out there and where Skydog would have finally taken that. Reverse slides, use of notes in the fret, and more than I understand so I wonder what else would have evolved with his genius.
