Just curious.
What bands do you like to listen to when you want to chill and relax?

Any genre applies.

Chill is my go to because it is mostly instrumental and doesn’t distract me.

Ben Bohmer, Nora En Pure, Satin Jackets, Emmitt Fenn, Nora Van Ellen, Kaskade, Deeparture are a few of the artists. However, Chill is predominately song driven, not artist driven.

I love to listen to 1920s-30s Era jazz .

Sade is very relaxing .

And believe it or not atmospheric black metal is relaxing.

my go to elvis albums when i just wanna forget and get lost...
☆elvis is back...1960...his first studio album after his return from the army...one of his greatest works and the closest we'd get to a blues album.
☆his hand in mine...1960...elvis' first gospel album.
☆something for everybody...1961...this studio gem went to #1 and is filled to the brim of his angelic voice on ballads and pop.
☆blue hawaii...1961...the biggest selling album of his lifetime.
☆pot luck...1962...his last studio album for several years as the focus shifted to soundtrack albums.
kiss me quick, such an easy question, suspicion some of the best tracks on a excellent album.
☆how great thou art...1966...his 2nd gospel album won him his first grammy.
one of his greatest albums.
☆from elvis in memphis...1969...his greatest studio album.
☆back in memphis...1970...second album from his great sessions at american studios.
☆thats the way it is...1970...personal favorite.
just pretend, you don't have to say you love me,bridge over troubled water...immaculate.
☆elvis country...1971...another personal favorite and one of his greatest albums.
☆he touched me...1972...his 3rd gospel album is brilliant...also won a grammy.
☆raised on rock...1973...the first of 3 recorded at stax.
☆good times...1974...the 2nd in the stax trilogy.
☆promised land...1975...the 3rd and probably best album from stax.
☆from elvis presley blvd...1976...recorded in the jungleroom at graceland.
☆moody blue...1977...the 2nd release from the sessions in the jungleroom...his last album released before his passing.

my touchstones.

Had to think about this for a while then realized I don't listen to music to relax; feel better, get energized.... definitely.
