It changes over time, but the two that have always been there are Metallica and Slayer. Though, I have a love hate relationship with Metallica. Since around the Load CDs, I've found I pretty much hate their music. There are a couple of songs I like on the Load CDs, but I haven't listen to the entire CDs since because everything is ****.

I like many different types of music, but I hate most of the two-bit garbage hiphop / rap that is around today. I will take old school, over todays garbage.

Load and Reload had a couple of good songs. St. Anger blew chunks. Death Magnetic is really good. It is closer to their old style.

Really? Maybe I will have to take a listen then. I know Lars was saying that Death Magnetic was exactly the type of music that Newstead was wanting to play and the reason he left. Of course, Lars is a first class jerk in so many ways that I dismiss most everything he says. I heard part of one song (don't know the name) and I shruged it off. I will have to check it out and see if it deems worthy.

I agree completely about St. Anger. I was completely disgusted by it.

I listened to St. Anger once and never listened to it again. I recently ripped my whole cd collection to mp3's and guess which cd I left out. Yeap St. Anger. :laugh2:
