MVP of the team in the 2009 season...

Tony Romo is a really great player and since he is the Quarterback, he is going to have more impact on the team.

To continue, the impact of losing a Wide Receiver would not be as big as losing your Quarterback, especially one that is playing at a high level.

However, I believe this Season could have very well been lost had Miles Austin not shown up in Kansas City.

Despite everything Jerry Jones said, being sorry for getting rid of Chan Gailey so early and constantly saying Wade Phillips' job was safe, I believe if we would have lost the Kansas City Game, there was a real good chance Wade Phillips loses his job. Once that happens, history tells us that interim Head Coaches normally don't have success in the Post Season, if they even make it to the Post Season.

I believe a cogent argument could be made that Miles Austin saved this Season.

Miles Austin is my MVP.

I believe Miles Austin didn't only saved the season in the KC game, he has carried our team most other games since.

I'd actually give it to Miles Austin. He has completely transformed this offense. His production is UNBELIEVABLE, especially considering that he did not start the season. Seventh in the NFL in receiving yards, with it being quite possible that he finishes in the top 3. FIRST in the league in receiving touchdowns. He's basically done for us what Romo did when Bledsoe was finally benched. Let's hope he gets a better ending to his breakout season.

I couldn't chose between Tony Romo and the leader of the team Keith Brooking. Tough call IMO.

Its easy. Without Brooking we'd probably still be in the 8 to 9 win range. Without Romo we'd be in the 3 to 4 win range.

It's gotta be Romo. Austin is right up there though. You also have to say Jenkins is up there as well.

I think it's Romo, but I think Austin has to get a major assist here. If not for his production, I don't think Romo would have the people around him to be doing what he is right now.

Maybe easy for you, then I don't underestimate the play and leadership that Brooking has brought to the team.

Without "leadership" we won 9 games last season. It all starts and ends with Romo. Brooking wouldn't even be in my top 5 of MVP's on this team. I'd go for Romo, Austin, Ware, Ratliff and Jenkins before i'd go for Brooking. I love what he brings. He brings great leadership. But i'll take production over leadership and IMO Brooking is a solid against the run but when he's in coverage I cringe.

Oh this one is too easy. It's Romo all the way. There is absolutely no doubt about that.

I'd give Offensive Player of the Year to Miles, Defensive Player of the Year to D-Ware.

Romo, with most other QBs you would see just how bad the O Line really is.

Considering we would be a 4 or 5 win team max without Romo, I think it is pretty clear that he is the MVP of the team.

Austin gets 2nd place.

I think it is more like CO-MVP's.

Tony Romo and Miles Austin. (Just got a new Miles Austin away jersey and throwback jersey.) :D
