MVP...The guy we can least afford to lose...lose him and there's almost "0" % chance of winning a game or going to the playoffs.

1. Drew Bledsoe... Duh...he had a bad month...blame it on the OL, the playcalling, whatever...even if it's his own fault, it's clear that this team goes only as far as he goes. If Drew were to go down, we would be unlikely to win another game without him...any chance of the playoffs would be gone.

2. Terry Glenn... I would never have guessed it, but this guy is clearly our #2 player. Lose Glenn, and our offense would have nothing...it would be like when Aikman lost Irvin and everything went in the crapper, and that was with a good OL and Emmitt still left. Glenn is the only WR we can really count on getting open game to game.

I'd argue that we could lose anyone on defense...lose Roy, and we'd probably play Davis at SS with Pile or Scott at FS and the season would not be lost. Lose Newman, and Glenn would start now that Henry is back. We have more depth on defense, and while we'd suffer, you can do a lot to hide or cover for any 1 loss on defense and still have a chance to win a game.

ON offense, We'd be totally screwed as a team without Bledsoe or Glenn.

We can say what we will about needing an OL or a LB or a FS, but we'd better find another WR for next year because if Glenn goes down, I don't want to see what this offense looks like with Keyshaun and Crayton.

Terry Glenn is the Cowboys MVP in my eyes.

Bledsoe would fall into 2nd.

I have to say though, that Bledsoe is and has been playing above my expectaions for the most part.

Newman may be the most talented player on the team and even the most coveted by other teams, but up top I referred to the player on whom our season and success most depends.

I think we could weather the loss of Newman better than either of the other two guys because Glenn could step in and do a decent job....we have no one who could step in for Bledsoe or Glenn, imo.

Bradie James needs to be mentioned as well...maybe not as team mvp but defensive mvp.

I like them both but with out Bledsoe Glenn doesnt get the ball. Glenn really isnt making circus catches out there.

I thought the player we could least lose at the beginning of the season was Flozell Adams. Doh!

Next in line for me would be Roy Williams. That is, unless you guys want to see a secondary with Keith Davis and Lynn Scott as the starting safeties! Gasp!

Drew Bledsoe would probably be third, especially with Flozell gone. Romo could probably do some stuff but poor Henson would get killed.

After getting rid of Peerless lets pray to god Terry doesn't go down now! Although I am kind of starting to wonder if TNew might be practicing some on offense more than we are aware. Perhaps he's being geared up to be Plan B if the worst was to happen and we lost Terry and needed a quick fix in the playoffs. Afterall in game crunching situations while Peerless was here TNew was the one back there returning punts without fail over Price.

But that all being said, I agree with the originator of this post, Bledsoe is the guy we can afford to least lose. If he went down we might as well pack it in with who we have sitting on the bench behind him. And with Terry there is a chance Crayton, with a little mixing it up by throwing TNew in to spread the defense from time to time, that we could be alright. It's not like years past when Terry went down and we had a HUGE question mark at QB as it was. As long as Bledsoe has protection, he can get the ball to anybody. That was not the case with Vinny or Quincy. And I'm glad we're done with QBs whose names end with a "Y". Fitting though, over both of them, I ask that very thing........whY?!!!

It's no coincidence that Terry hadn't had a play as long as yesterdays flea flicker since 1998, back when Drew was his QB in NE. And Terry played for Favre and Testaverde.

Glenn is truly what makes this offense go and is clearly our team MVP. Look at our early season success and who was getting the ball on offense and scoring TDs. It was Glenn. Then look at the games wheree we struggled and look at Glenn's production and you'll see that it's no coincidence that when Glenn is heavily involved in the offense we have more success.

Last seaosn we startred out fairly well because of Glenn then he goes down with an injury and the team goes down with him. I'm not saying we were a playoff team last year until Glenn went down, but he does force defenses to play differently when he is involved offensively.

With him this is a completly different offense.

Wow...do you really think losing Roy would cost us more games than losing Bledsoe or Glenn? I seriously doubt whether we'd win any games without those two simply because there are absolutely no players to step in and perform in their absences.

Newmans playing great and all, but hes doing his job. Noone throws on him cause hes so good. if he would step up and make plays he could be the MVP. Bledsoe gets my vote, Glenn for 2nd. Both have done there jobs and more. Glenns been huge for us this year. Hes injury free.

Losing Bledsoe would mostly hurt in games like last Sunday when Parcells opens up the offense. I don't think Romo would be as good, but my god, the playcalling is so conservative these days, I don't see how any half-decent backup couldn't do any better than the 1 td, 2 int, 150 yard type performances Bledsoe has been putting in as of late. Same thing goes for Glenn. He's not good enough to get open when we max protect, and he fails often at double coverage. Crayton and Key may not put up the same numbers, but I don't think the dropoff would be as dramatic as Roy to Lynn Scott, especially with Keith Davis as the other safety. There have been some games where only having Roy Williams has made our teama dominant run stopping defense. Didn't see that yesterday, but saw it in on a lot of other games. When backs start turning in 150 yard games on a regular basis, instead of just one game a year, you'll see how valuable Roy is. Not to mention the interceptoins, the forced fumbles, the sacks, and everything else that makes this defense a scoring defense this year. It would all go away. At least if Newman goes out, we still have Glenn and Henry. Until yesterday, the primary reason we won any games for the last two months was our defense, not our offense. I'd rather lose an offensive player than a defensive player. But mostly, I'd just prefer not to lose anyone. ;)

I am havin a hard time picking a MVP for this team. It seems that week-in and week-out that more than one player steps up in each game. Win or Lose.

Keyshawn is probably at the top of the list. He does so many things.

Even though he had a bad game yesterday, I still say Roy Williams. Despite the high score yesterday, the defense has been the cornerstone of this team, and I shudder to think how we'd try to replace him if he got hurt.

Wow this is close because we had some pretty descent play on both sides of the ball. We can't rule out Aaron Glenn. What a gamer and nice pickup he was, especially when Henry went down.

Terry Glenn has been on the recieving end of almost every big play on offense this year and in my opinion is the MVP of the team with Bledsoe a close second followed by Roy Williams.
