Tyler has been terrific for a raw rookie stepping into a position he wasn't playing in preseason. Just terrific. He's not playing like one of the elite tackles in the league. Not yet.
Indeed. I mean I was concerned, but I don't even sweat him anymore. Best tackle in the league by years end I think. He is on his way.He is special.

7 penalties and 4 sacks allowed on less than 500 snaps...... (Not trying to be snarky, he's doing great but those 2 things alone are far from elite). Just to put that into perspective, 2019 tyron (back when everyone was crying that "he's washed up" and "is becoming a penalty machine") had 1 sacked allowed and 8 penalties on almost 900 snaps

Honestly curious if the majority of that came in his first few games versus last few? Just trying to get an idea of whether it was some initial growing pain or if it's been more of a consistent thing, because haven't really heard his name much in past few games. Think I remember him giving up 2 of those sacks to AD and well...1:1 AD makes All Pros look stupid on any given play.
without a great LT in this league you wont win much. When Tyron went down he was threw into the fire and has been near elite. Micah is an alpha dog and the team leader, but right now if this kid went down, we will have 40 year old Jason peters left to start there. Its a good debate. We have 2 outstanding players...generational ,WE are blessed.
