-Cooper, Warmack, and Richardson are gone.
-St. Louis calls us about the 18th pick. Vacarro is still on the board and St Louis needs him badly and is worried about Cinci taking him 1 pick ahead of them.
-We receive 22 and 78 for 18. And yes, I view that as a fair trade regardless of what the trade value chart says.
Ok so now the picks....
22- Sly Richardson- The target at 18 anyway but adding the extra 3rd is just icing on the cake. Ready to start day 1 and brings an element to the D that we are really lacking up the middle.
47- DJ Swearinger- Great fit for FS in Kiffin's scheme. Very good in coverage, but also brings an attitude to the D with some fierce hits.
78- Brian Winters- Big nasty guy with that plays with a mean streak. College LT who will be making the transition to OG which mean he will have at least above feet for pulling and screens.
80- Le'veon Bell- Thunder and lighting. Murray is the explosive back but Bell is there to keep him fresh and pick up the tough yards. Great red zone weapon as well.
114- David Quessenberry- Versatile guy with a lot of upside. Very athletic. Ideally he makes a smooth transition to center, but could be a guard or even a RT really.
151- Malliciah Goodman- 6'4 275 with freakishly long arms and good strength. Looks like a very good fit for SDE even if he's never a great sack artist.
185- Conner Vernon- Love what this kid brings to the table. I view him as a poor mans Wes Welker. Despite not being the biggest or fastest guy ended up as the ACC all time leader in catches which is pretty impressive.
