I was an infant/toddler when Johnson was our coach, but the more I watch and read about him, the more it's clear to me that he's a complicated, beautiful man. What a great play that was. Always a great sight to see Alvin running down that sideline.
Unfortunately most of my Cowboys memories are awful like my hometown Panthers eliminating us from the playoffs twice, Romo bobbling the special teams snap, Patrick Crayton stuttering on his route, Brett Favre finally owning us in the playoffs at age 100, the Matt Flynn debacle, Demarco Murray's playoff fumble, the Dez catch, and Aaron Rodgers converting on 3rd and 20 with the season on the line.
But a few plays I often look back on and smile were Zeke's run against the Steelers in 2016, Kyle Wilber jumping on that special teams fumble against Minnesota on TNF in 2016, Emmitt breaking the rushing record against Seattle, and Dak's run to the goal line against Seattle in 2018. Sigh.
