My Buckeyes Got Destroyed!

Not the game I expected to see.

Clearly deserving based on tonights game.

I was surprised to see that someone stated the SEC doesnt get their due, when I think that they are easily recognized as one of the best conferences.

Although I dont know what your response has to do with my original post.

Big 12 = 3-5

I was really hoping Nebraska and OU would bring us to 5-3.......but NOOOOOOOO

at least Texas won....beat the Big 10....that was a great game though....I am so glad I was at the Alamo Bowl this year

Since the Rose Bowl against Michigan........Texas is 3-1 against the Big 10

HOOK EM HORNS

See the 2003 season when LSU should have faced USC. LSU and Saban would have wiped the floor clean with USC. Though the west coast media would try to convince you otherwise.

Ohio St. had 82 yards of offense. Wow. I didn't know that until just now.

and 64 of it was on one drive.... Troy Smith looked very human. He reminds me of a poor(er) man's version of Cordell Stewart... only worse...

I have no defense.

Florida just absolutely dominated us tonight. What a team they were tonight!

Let me have it...I deserve it.

Hey, it was a great game.......for like the first 7 seconds.:D

just think.......if it wasn't for a bogus PI call in the other Championship game.....Miami would have beaten you guys...

The only thing that is bogus, is that claim...and it's easily proven.

Big Ten vs SEC Bowl Games:

2 - 1

:p:

A sweep would have been sweet, but even then, they'd still make that pronouncement.

My USC Trojans should be #2

LSU.

LSU was the most talented team in the country. They'll have a ton of guys drafted. If not for Cowboy-like stupid mistakes, they would've beaten both Florida and Auburn.

Texas beat barely beat a 6-6 Iowa team, and lost to K-State and A&M. Wouldn't go bragging too much.

I think Ohio State and Michigan learned that they and the Big 10 was a bit overrated this year.

Morning Jack.

You know, Louisville had one loss, to Rutgers on the road 28-25.

To me, Wisconsin was the team that really got hossed. Because Ohio St. and Michigan both went to BCS games, Wisconsin (12-1) was not elligable.

We really need a playoff.

If Wisconsins loss was to Ohio State...or if they even played Ohio state...things may be different.

But they did not even play the best team in their own conference this year.

I just don't get it, a team should have to play every team in it's conference...if the conference is too big for that to happen yearly they need to split up the conference to an east/west or north/south situation.

I agree with you. First of all, the Big 10 should play a conference championship game. Second, they should play everybody in there conference or split into divisions. OSU and the Big 10 really have nobody to blame for the layoff but themselves. Every team in that conference voted to keep the structure as is, so as to have football done by Thanks Giving. Just not a good move with the way Bowls are scheduled any longer. Unfortunate but still, a conciouse choice by everybody in the Big 10.

I don't know that Wisconsin was good enough to beat any of the BCS teams but anybody who goes 12-1 in a major conference like the Big 10 (Only loss to Michigan in Ann Arbor) deserves to get some consideration IMO.

They won and OU lost. That's the bottom line. To the victors...........

NCAA rules prohibit the Big 10 from holding a championship game. They require 12 teams to hold one.

The only team they could add to get a 12th that would lend any prestige to the conference and make sense geographically is Notre Dame and it doesn't want to lose its NBC revenue.
