I actually think that he kinda reminds me of a young Warren Moon. Moon might have had a little better arm but I do see some similarities there. Moon was under rated coming out of Washington, as Dak may prove to be, similar size. Both QBs have mobility but can also throw. Both were very good throwing on the run. Both basically played in Run and Shoot type Offenses. Not saying that Prescott is going to be another Warren Moon, because Moon was one of the best QBs to ever play Football IMO. However, at similar stages, I kinda see some similarities.

McNair. Same height and weight. Same epiphenomenological cognition for the circumstance and play survival but I'm not really sure about Dak's actual arm strength. The sideline frozen rope on a 6 route or a dig is really the measure of arm strength than launching a rainbow. Chad Pennington was said to have a weak arm but he routinely threw the deep ball to Randy Moss at Marshall. What Pennington could not do was lay the ball out on an unwavering lightning bolt to the shoulder pad window of his WR on the outside hashes. Elway and Marino had legendary strong arms which left stigmata on their WRs hands from 18 yards away not measured by the deep throw.

Prescotts release is kind of inefficient and over the top like McNairs but who cares, it's enough strength and it works to win the play.

Brees, Brady are two of the best examples.

On the non HOF level Hasselbeck, and on a non elite level Chad Pennington

I have no idea what your criteria is, but you just listed two successful black QB's as not being "cerebral" and all your cerebral QB's are white, so I'm going to guess being white is a key component of being cerebral.

More likely, it seems like they are all traditionally "unathletic" QB's, although Bree's is an athlete.

Just wanted add that its possible to be a Romoholic while still being elated if Dak comes in and takes his job

The star on the helmet is all that matters to me

Suffered through too many junk QB's to not appreciate new blood coming in and being our future.

Just want him to take a year or 2 to watch and learn from a veteran if possible. Its best for Dak and maybe the team as well

Lolwut. Its a race thing just because I didn't list a black QB? Thats a massive reach. Comical even

A cerebral QB is a QB who makes a play through reading defensive, going through progressions and taking the most effective approach as the play developes. A non cerebral QB trys to make goes into a play with the intent on making something happen and often attempts it regardless of how play developes

BTW, Jamis Winston is very cerebral QB. Came into the NFL with a very advance ability to read a defense and the patience to follow progressions.

**** with that crap.

Mc Nair and if he turns out that good it would be coup.

I see McNair too, thought his delivery even looks similar. Also both are/were pass-first running QBs with big bodies that are hard to bring down.

When you're completing 80 percent of your passes you're not throwing the ball downfield enough.
