That's what makes it so troubling. On many of those 3rd and long completions there wasn't a defender within 10 yards of the receiver. I have to believe it was blown assignments because NFL football players can't be that horrible in pass coverage. I know the stinks ran a couple of gadget plays like the Randle El pass, but still.

I wondered several times why, if we were going to have 3 defenders standing behind the receiver just waiting to tackle him after he caught the ball, we couldn't have at least one of them actually trying to stop him from catching the pass.

NFC is all you should be worried about to be honest. Next time we play an AFC team with significance will be in the Super Bowl. Who cares about the AFC or the damn Patriots.

If Dallas is on their game, no one in the NFC can compete with them. This is, of course, considering there are no major injuries the rest of the season.
And I care a lot about the AFC since that's who Dallas will have to beat to win the SB.

Since I haven't seen this mentioned I guess I will say it. With a game today and a gave T-day they have not so much game planed either teams so much as concentrated on what Dallas usually does well. The first half looked bad, more so then usual. But so did the D which does not bode well with me at all. I hope they really do have a plan in the works for the pack.
