My Cowboys stock report after tonight

Try not to exaggerate too much. There were one of two people saying anything close to that and most replies were that it was a ridiculous idea. We do have some posters here that a are out of touch with reality (no pun intended), but saying 'everyone' is pretty inaccurate. Seems like you are trying to take credit for being contrary to a common opinion when that silly idea of a 1st rounder was something just about everyone thought was silly.

Disclaimer: I do have a bunch of posters in ignore, so if there were more people supporting that, then I am sorry (though it does show that I've made good choices on my ignore list ;)
Yeah you must have 40 or 50 on ignore.. it was 1st rd this and 1st rd that!

At least you keep the important people off ignore though.

Which is the result when the DLine is getting owned. Man, our DFront was terrible in this game, the solace being that most of them won't even make the 53. I was having nightmares of last season's D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was bad. Not sure what happened in this one because I thought the backup line had been playing well. In fact, I was having trouble with the idea of cutting some of them, but not after last night. I would try to get a couple on the practice squad, probably Toia and Dunn, but I also liked some of what I saw from Withers.

Think you can do both Yes they both played well but one of them probably not clearing waivers anyway, Dunn played too well he'll probably get picked up but dude we're already too deep before we get to those guys along the D line,

so they need to probably put more offensive lineman and maybe more cornersa TE and WR, I mean you got to put positions of need besides the QB3 emergency quarterback might be on there..

I don't think if we lose any of those backup DTs that we'll be losing any kind of star, just possibly some rotational depth. I mean, I don't think we'll be saying, look at Jay Toia tearing it up, why'd we ever waive him?

What did Barham do to be “way up”
So when I said "stock way up," I wasn't saying "Barham dominated the Saints."

I meant: The Cowboys drafted a player whose preseason performance has made it increasingly difficult to keep him in a minor role.

And that's a very good problem for Dallas to have.

I didn't feel good about Barham tonight. I had hoped that he'd show that he should be out there on early downs as a run stopper, but he swam a little tonight.
I'd go light on him. The DTs get man-handled and LB evaluation becomes nearly impossible. I saw DTs getting blown off the ball, unlike the DTs he'll be playing behind during the regular season. My guess is he'll live up to the hype when he's playing with competent DTs.

Oh, I agree with you.

I thought your original comment was a post-game recap of who you thought increased or decreased their status with their performance last night. A risers and fallers list.

I would say Barham’s hype level ticked down a notch, which is probably a good thing because the Zone was going crazy all week.

Interesting on Keegan. I know nothing about him and haven’t caught the game yet. I will later today. I assume he is an UDFA.

Still want a vet swing tackle though.
Keegan is a 2 year vet who played for the Eagles as a Tackle.

Trevor Keegan is an offensive Tackle and Center for the Dallas Cowboys wearing jersey number 77.

Can you say anything positive or do you just get off on *****ing about the Cowboys? 3 posts on this thread in a row on this thread just taking drive by shots with stupid comments. You must be a miserable human.
WARNING: DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS!!!

The first sign of intelligence is the ability to disagree agreeably with others who do not share your viewpoints. Your anger filled posts at a stranger reveal you were not the fastest swimmer.
It's odd you talk about disagreeing agreeably while insulting the poster, sounds like pot meet kettle.

Not even close. He is just a solid player who had a good camp and looked good in preseason.

You don't like Barham?
Your thread title is "stock report after tonight" so most (rightfully) assumed you meant a player's movement as a result of last night's game. You're clearly backing off that now and trying to proclaim it was a "total picture" but yet you have Hudson as stock way up and Camden Brown as only stock up? For the "total picture" most would say you swap them as Hudson had one good game in a greatly discounted final preseason game whereas Brown has looked the part in all 3 plus had so much training camp buzz even opposing team broadcasters were pointing him out. But you rate Hudson who's not even making the team as higher? He looked better than Brown last night due to opportunity though so I can see how one would rate him higher if they were focusing on last night's game ..... like you aren't, of course. Lol.

Barham looked great in 1 game, was hurt most of camp but only looked so-so last night. He shows good promise. He might want to stack a few good regular season performances before trying to come off as a badass to the press though. As I said in his quote thread, "Do. Then strut."

Tommy Dunn has to go PS he was in the middle of the action all three Pre Season games . He’s good depth for the middle . And same for versatile Tyrus Wheat

And is learning a new position and was playing behind a terrible DLine.

Funny how people still don't comprehend how important the DLine is.
