Today we resign Flo to a long term deal, Hamlin is franchised and Barber is tendered and we allow Canty to test the FA waters.

I hate to see Canty go, but I think we ask him to give us an opportunity to match and I hope we do as long as it's not crazy money.

No real reason to not at least tender Canty. It's not that big of a cap hit to do so, yet the reward is huge.

Well with the way my crystal ball was working this year, I'm glad I'm batting .333 right now. Still got 4 hours for the Barber tender and the flo signing.

Hey, ya have a whole week for those two things...but I still say Canty gets tendered as well.

I hope you're right on Flo, but NOT at the expense of Canty. A middle 20's DE is a MUCH better sign than a middle 30's LT and I'm willing to bet Jerry and Co. feel the same way. Besides, we have one of the more mobile QBs in the NFL who works as well or better outside of the pocket as he does inside.

Absolutely. I like Canty allot. I think he will continue to improve and be a real force on our DLine.
