My Dad is in the hospital

He went in last night with pneumonia. Sepsis (sp?) has set in and the Dr says it would be a miracle if he ever walks out of the hospital.

My aunt died of double pneumonia less than a year ago.


Just wanted to let you all know so that if you see me getting more agitated then I normally do and go off on any of you, don't take it personal. Times are really tough right now.

I can relate amigo. My Dad is in the Hospital in El Paso, TX and I sent my wife to be with her Dad.

Thanks a lot everyone.

I just got word that his fever has gone down (from 102 to 99) so they're moving him from the emergency room to ICU. He's also got his appetite back so that's good.


I know how things can turn with pneumonia though. With my aunt, she had gotten better then it all turned around in the matter of a day and she passed away. So I'm not relaxing just yet.

I'll make sure to let everyone know how he's doing in the coming days.

Yeah that just adds more to the last month we've had in our family.


My mother got "Fired" from work (she didn't do anything, it's a long story I won't get into) and since she's been stretching her money the last few years taking care of her brother, daughter, and grand daugher-in-law she doesn't have enough money to pay the bills.

On top of that, she's going blind and the doctors can't figure out why. Her eyesight keeps going from near-sighted to far sighted, etc... They've run all kinds of tests and can't figure it out.

Oh and my cousin was in town 3 weeks ago, he went back to alaska to find out his wife is leaving him.

And 2 months ago I lost my job and haven't found work yet.


Like I said, when it rains it pours.
