- I think Vea is the pick at 19. I think he is the faller with all these QBs going ahead of us. Big thing here is I think Dallas see's more pass rush ability than other teams.

- I think 50 will be going to Seattle for Thomas. I could also see it staying with conditional 2019 picks going Seattle. Either way I think the trade gets done. Definitely not a fan of that asking price, but it is what it is.

- 3rd round could be where we go WR, but its hard to put a name to it. I could see us moving up in the third to take a player that wont fall to use. Washington maybe. If not I see them doubling up with Antonio Callaway being taken somewhere

- Even if we trade for Thomas I see us taking a safety somewhere in rounds 3 to 5. Brought too many guys in that range to not. Kazir White could start day 1 at SS

I think the candidates at 19 are Edmunds, Vea, Ridley and Wynn. But mostly a trade down.

Agree on Earl Thomas and a WR, but I'm thinking the WR is at 50 and the pick moved for Thomas is 81. That's the hope and prayer, anyway.

I get the feeling that Vea is their guy but he won't be available at 19.

I dont think Seattle will come down that much for Thomas. I think it will come down to whether or not the Cowboys want Thomas enough to give up a second round pick

I havent see Edmunds or Wynn linked to Dallas

Callaway failed his drug test at the combine. He's done. He'll be lucky to be a undrafted free agent now.

We won't even SNIFF Vea at 19. If he makes it past Miami, he won't make it past the Commanders - just ain't happening.

I would be surprised if he was. He could be the guy they were working with the Packers for a pre draft trade agreement.

I think the third round pick is the more reasonable, appropriate one. If the Cowboys give up #50, I'll be upset because I'll know they were the ones that blinked and panicked and gave up more than they had to or should have.

There is talk that the Commanders are going to draft Vea if he falls. So knowing that the chances of him at 19 is going to be a miracle. Personally I would love if the Cowboys took him. We need that kind of bulk on the line considering that this defense currently does not collapse the pocket and lacks the bulk it needs on the inside of the defensive line.

I can't see Vea falling to 19 even if 5 QBs are taken first 18 picks.

If that's the case, I hope they don't.

I think he is the faller. I dont think he has the pass rush ability right now for teams to pull the trigger that high over other top end talents. I think Dallas feels he does, but its a projection

I think at worst with Vea he makes Irving and the other linebackers better. I don't know how much he offers as a pass rusher though. I definitely don't see a 3 tech.

Also, people are applauding how he looks at 350 pounds.. The guy is 350.. Lose some freaking weight man. There is a weight issue regardless of how well he wears it.

I hope they dont as well. But I think they will

Then it will be something else to be mad at them about. Because it means they panicked, blinked, and overpaid.

They can then let me know the last time that a trade involving a quality draft pick and paying a player a huge salary on top of it, worked out for the team that did it.

I think if Dallas was going to give up 50 the trade would have already happened, but we will see tomorrow obviously. Dallas is the one with the pick and no one has blinked, time is on the side of the Cowboys IMO.

same. i think (and i don't agree with this) but i think all of the defensive guys we want will be gone by 19 and we'll pick DJ Moore. just my opinion on what we'd do
