I wonder if we won't see Polite make the team and see Anderson on the practice squad. Polite is really only serviceable as a blocker but IMO he catches the ball out of the backfield pretty well.

Also, I like Courtney Brown's upside but I also like Abe Elam's ability to play now. I know he is a special teams monster but I would almost rather see us keep Brown and Elam and cut Davis, cause at safety Davis always has and I think he always will look like dog poop.

I might try to slide Marten to the PS and give him a year with the strength coaches. In his place I would probably keep Bowen on the DL.

As far as 3rd string QB goes, I don't know what the big deal is. We went the whole season last year without one on our roster and Matt Moore hasn't shown me anything warranting us cutting someone else just so we don't have to worry about him clearing wavers. If your looking for another project QB then I say put Bartel on the PS and see how he develops.

I know nobody likes a rookie kicker but at this point I would go with one kicker and say arrivederci to Grammatica.

Slide Marten to the PS? James Marten? Our drafted future OT? Are you absolutely crazy? You can't possibly think he'd clear waivers? That is just about the dumbest post I've ever read. Seriously.

I also will not be surprised/shocked if Stanback lands on our PS.

Nobody is gonna sign a project player to their active list Sunday.

I can't believe some of these posts. Do you guys actually pay any attention to the NFL? Stanback is going to be on the 53 man roster. He wouldn't last 5 minutes on waivers. Get over it. He's going to be kept due to his potential.
