Do you really think bringing in Ray, after taking a flyer on Hardy would be worth the headache? I think that's biting off way more than the team can chew. If it was only the turf toe, or an old pot bust I wouldn't care as much. Or if Ray's talent was as sure fire as Leonard Williams'... Man he is just too risky.

I think if they roll the dice, Gregory is more likely now.

I feel pretty confident that Hardy's suspension will get reduced, the question is how much? Say it goes down to 6 games. I would really love to have a guy that at the very least can be a passing down straight pass rusher. Ray could be that, but the turf toe scares the crap out of me. If he needs surgery, he could very well miss some of the beginning of the season. If we wait it out and see if it will heal with rest, and it doesn't, then we are under the same kind of situation as a year ago with Lawrence and our depth is non existent. That would make it really hard for me to pull the trigger on Ray.

I like Duke in the second but think Buck Allen would be a reach there if you Duke was gone. Don't really have any complaints about the rest of the draft and I think most everyone is in a reasonable range for them.

another scenario would be if shane ray is there, their phone could be ringing off the hook from teams at the top of round 2. think tampa or tenn would like to get a franchise qb and a DE or OLB. Both need one.
