My final top 12 projection

Wilson is only "chalk" at #2 because it's the Jets. He's the most likely bust of the 5 QBs.
Chalk meaning that who everyone knows they are taking. Who knows? They better surround him with better talent then they did with Darnold.

It's a good question, they may jump to to 7, if their QB is there. Lions would still get a top 10 prospect. After 6, the next three selections could go in many directions.

I agree. I see teams like the Falcons and Lions as undergoing significant organizational transitions, new coaches and front office people likely wanting to make sweeping changes. To do that in a big way, there are two ways to go in my opinion:
  1. Drafting a new franchise quarterback.
  2. Getting as much draft ammo as you can to rebuild in all other areas.
Atlanta has reworked Matt Ryan's contract to the point where they can't get out for two years. To me that says it's too early for them to draft their next quarterback. So that leads me to believe that they'll look to move down to acquire more picks.

Detroit just traded Stafford for Goff and I would expect that it wasn't the Lions intent to just to put him aside and draft another one. So that tells me that they would also like to move down and gain more draft picks.
