some of these trade scenario guys are willing to gift the 4th pick for next to nothing so a QB is not taken in the first round...........

You'll never get that for 7 spots in the draft. If Chicago was trying to get from the late teens to say 4, sure. But first round, second round this year and maybe another pick like 4th or 5th round is probably a fair deal.
