Yes sir, I'm craving another. Had 3 of them myself. Dad owned a VW dealership back in the 70's so they are all I remember.

First one I got was when I was in 10th grade. It was the 71' Pearl White pictured about.

Second was a Midnight Black 67', I still cry thinking about the day I sold this one.

3rd was a 73' Sun Beetle Porsha version. Very rare, hard to find. May look familiar if you have seen the movie Footloose. Had to sell it when we moved to SC.

Been 5 years! I want another!

69 Camaro SS one of the coolest cars ever. If you still had it in any kind of condition it would be worth a couple bucks.
Sold it about 10 years ago. I'll probably get another at some point.

I had one of these but it was 10 years old and falling apart

It was also an '88 instead of an '85

1968 Ford Fairlane. It had a stock 302 I juiced up just a tad and rarely lost any races. Mine was beige with a black vinyl top. I loved that car despite the fact it wasn't a chick magnet car.

1976 Carmaro - My dad flew down to Pomona, CA to the Car and Truck swap meet and picked it up for for my 16th birthday. After blowing (2) engines from racing it constantly, he finally took it away and sold it and made me drive his Bronco.

:spanking:

1972 Chevrolet Monza

Maroon inside and out.

You've never seen such a monster.

Mine was tan. Jensen Triaxles, a Univox deck and 40 watt/ch Realistic power booster equalizer cranking Sympathy for the Devil.

Good times.

Most everyone rocked those Jensen Triaxles back in the day, I went through a couple of pair of them myself!

Those old Toys were damn good trucks. From 82-89, you couldn't go wrong. Those 22R 4 cylinders are probably still running strong.

Is that a screenshot from Back to the Future?

No one's first "car" was a Jeep?

1992 Buick Century wagon...loved that car. LOVED IT. Drove it for like 6 years and it still ran great. Unfortunately the entire frame was rusted out :laugh2: Just about a year ago today that I had to get rid of it. sad, sad, sad day

72 Buick Skylark and I wish it looked this good :laugh2:

1972-Skylark-Side-View.jpeg

I had a 76 Skylark that was burnt orange and it didn't look anywhere near that good.

It was a 6 cylinder, 3 speed with shift on the column. No A/C, no power steering, NOTHING! It was like driving a log truck.

:laugh2:

my 2nd car. i put it on a credit card.

No pic, but I had an 87 Ford Taurus. A/C was busted, speakers were busted, and at night I had to use high beams all the time because the headlights were faded yellow. But that little car would get up and go, and besides a blown radiator hose, didn't give me no trouble.

After that I got a 98 Mustang V6 with a manual. Slow and sounded horrible with my dual exhaust (glasspacks) at the time that I thought sounded good. But I still have so many good memories and times with that car and she was dead solid reliable. Lasted 3 years of high school and all of college. Got rid of it and got a 2002 Chevy Z71 which I still have. And recently I picked up a 2002 Mustang GT, manual, which is my baby and is taken extreme care of. Not the fastest, but looks beast and has an awesome exhaust note.

It was pretty old when I got it, but the miles were very low. The guy my dad bought it from really babied it.
