Even if Dak turns out to be better than Wentz, I think Wentz is going to be pretty good. I don't think they missed on their pick, it's that we might've hit ours out of the park.

Or that we simply have a better everything to put around our new QB. I don't think many fans realize what an embarrassment of riches the Cowboys have on offense, starting with that offensive line.

Yes, I think Wentz can be anywhere from a good QB to a very good QB. Possibly a franchise QB, as we don't know at this point. I don't think he will be a total bust though, but we never know either on that, not at this point.
The thing is they gave up so much for him, as well as other players in coming and going. And may have messed up thrie cap. As where they used to keep that under control, it seemed.
So can they have enough, or do they have enough to build around Wentz to allow him to be successful.
I hope not, i hope they truly screwed themselves up in other areas for a long time.

Seriously, our offense looks unstoppable. We not only have the wow players in Dez and Zeke and Romo. Weve got the most dependable TE evvvvverrr. Weve got guys like Morris, Dunbar, Beasley, Twill, Butler and then the icing on the cake is that our oline is hands down the best in the NFL. So our skill players are given every opportunity to execute. No longer am I scared to death of life after Romo anymore either. Dak will fill in well if need be and may just blossom into a dang good QB.

For a team that is so often criticized we have certainly assembled one of the best offenses in the league and it is young. This offense will be good for a long time.

Now about the defense....

The OL will not be happy being called the icing. They're blue collar... They'd be the cake

Agree. I would have love to had gotten Goff or Wentz but it didn't happen. Hopefully Dak will work out. So far, so good.
