Par for the course with particular poster. So be careful you might get one of his/her/heshe's private messages questioning what you like in life.

My father has been a fan of the Cowboys since the early 60's when he fell in love with the star on their helmet and I've grown up around the Cowboys, so naturally I love them too. My family is all from NY, Long Island and Queens to be exact. Screw the Giants ;)

Dead serious.

I can't imagine for rooting for a team in New York or California that I have no connections to. To each his own, I guess...

You pick a team as a kid and ride with them, but I understand what you mean. It should be easy to understand as Cowboys fans.

Cool. I'm from deer park. I've done some partying in Baytown. Lol.

I've partied in Baytown, too. I'm originally from just outside Channelview. (They say Channelview was created so the people living in Pasadena would have someone to look down on.) :)

Are you from Texas? Parents from Texas? Otherwise you need to be rooting for the home team (Giants, Jets)

Damn band wagoners.

Cowboys are At minimum America's team. But then, I know aliens from the other side of the Milky Way that are just as fanatical for the Cowboys as us.

I always liked Clint Stoerner. He had some moxie and a good feel for the game. I remember the first few drives he had in the regular season he led the team down the field for scores when the starting QB had struggled before him in the game.

I think his downfall came in the game against the Giants when he had a big first half lead and then seemed to play too aggressively, threw a few picks and we ended up losing the game. Clint was never the same after that in my opinion.

Getting back to Clint, I felt like he did not get a fair shake. Yes he made mistakes but he also made plays. I always felt like he got caught up in that qb carousel back then and never got a real chance to succeed. Thought he could be at least a solid backup. Didn't he have some success in the arena league?

I'm from Mexico, i don't have the right to be a fan... :(

Damn straight. You stick with futbol down there, and us TEXAS Cowboys fan will take care of football.

On the real, I think its neat that there are fans from other states since youth, even if they arent from Texas or have no connections.

Holy crap, did we hijack this thread. LOL.

Um....Go CLINT! YEAH.

Ha! Same story here! Dad was from queens and was the only Cowboy fan in the fam. So I've been born and raised silver and blue

No way Yank. Go root for the giants.

I had way too much to drink last night this was a very stupid think I said. Of course anyone from any region of the country or anywhere in the world for that matter can root for any team they like. I apologize to you DallasDW00son and any one else my dumb drunk post offended.

What a nightmare that era was...

Well, now that I think about it, how much worse was that era compared to this one?

I sometimes think it's worse now. Back then with Campo, I knew we were going to suck with all those no name and aging talent. I actually had hope with Romo, Witten, Ware etc.. You figured with the talent we had past 3 years, we would do better than 3 more wins from the Campo era.
