I always liked Clint Stoerner. He had some moxie and a good feel for the game. I remember the first few drives he had in the regular season he led the team down the field for scores when the starting QB had struggled before him in the game.

I think his downfall came in the game against the Giants when he had a big first half lead and then seemed to play too aggressively, threw a few picks and we ended up losing the game. Clint was never the same after that in my opinion.

That's my memory. The guy looked like he had potential, but just seemed to suddenly disappear.

Cowboys fan for almost 40 years and I from the Northeast, never been to Texas. Any bandwagon jumper jumped off the bandwagon in 87 or in 97.

I still recall Jerry Jones likening him to Brett Favre at the time.
