I lool at thr vikings and say... Hoe the heck are they doing it ? Lost Bridgewater/Bradford and took a jag and hes coasting through their division.

They also lost cooks... Our coaches cant adapt. Their game plan is dez amd zeek will beat you but of you dont have them they try to plug and play different people and it doesnt work.

All those slobbering all over Garrett when he won COY need to remember that virtually everyone that ever won that award in the end got fired. So it means NOTHING.
and when again and again other teams adjust and you do not in the second half how can anyone not realize that the biggest weakness in this team is the HC. With the DC and OC close behind.

The issue is that Garrett can build a good team, but if something goes awry then he has no answer for it. This isn't looking Romo and Dez in 2015...but even in 2015 the adjustment was horrendous.

Now we have our starting QB, Dez, etc and we actually ran the ball well, but once again...the adjustments are horrendous. Meanwhile, the Eagles lose their Pro Bowl LT and MIKE and continue to just steamroll thru the league.

This is why Garrett just isn't the coach we want. We're banking on us to stay perfectly healthy and that's not likely to happen, particularly with a terrible S&C coach like Woicik...who is a Garrett guy.

Romo covered up much of Garrett’s shortcomings. Dak is not seasoned yet and will suffer for it. The last thing a competent GM should want is Garett tutoring what I hope to be my franchise quarterback.

He needs to be in a front office somewhere.

For the millionth time.

It's not about having 'an eye for talent.'

Garrett isn't making the personnel decisions.

I give Garrett credit for creating an environment where players can develop.

The issue with Garrett is that when things don't go according to plan, we're screwed.

So I give Garrett credit as a coach for developing talent. But, his in-game coaching is so poor that it will doom us in the end. I've never quite seen anything like it in coaching.

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I am confused by your response to my post. Where did I say anything about having an “eye for talent”? I think Romo covered up Garrett’s lack of coaching ability as much as he could. A young qb can’t do that with Garrett. To me, he is an executive type. Didn’t say anything about personnel decision making. BTW, I agree with your assessments.

Go look at the Deadskins. They have bunch more injuries than us and lost their best offensive weapon during the game against the Saints yesterday. Yet they still went toe to toe with the Saints on the road.

You might not win with some key players missing but getting blown out like that two weeks in a row is inexcusable.

Our coaches have no ability to scheme over weaknesses. Sean McVay has made the Rams overnight contenders with nearly the exact same roster they had last year. His schemes are so good that even without a significant upgrade in talent, he is getting significantly better results.

Jason Garrett brings the opposite - without top level talent across the board, we effectively become the Cleveland Browns. In what world is that remotely acceptable?
I agree with you somewhat but the Rams upgraded especially on offense. Bringing in Kupp and trading for Watkins is big time. I might be mistaken but Woods was brought in as well.

That being said Mcvay has put them in the right track. Doesn't matter if you have the talent (Dallas) without proper coaching it's not going to do anything.

Look what Pete brought to Seattle, Belichek at NE, Payton with the Saints, Zimmer was the Vikings. Coaching matters and right now we don't have it

I can only assume that an 'executive type' means personnel decision making. Unless he's got his CPA and can become the CFO of the organization.

There are many, many different front office jobs. For example, look at Rich McKay in Atlanta and how he was removed from one role (personnel) and given another (nonpersonnel). He could also be Jerry’s official eyeglass cleaner. Who knows? It takes all kinds to run a good organization.

Anyway, appreciate your posts. Always informative.

Leadership starts at the top. Here is our leader.

No one has an answer when you ask them exactly what is it that Garrett does?

He doesn't run the offense or the defense and acts like he has no input in it. His slogans and speeches that he rips off from Saban and Coach K mean nothing to the players. He chews gum and claps and turns more red when he is constantly humiliated out there.
Cowboys were 12-4 in 2014 and 13-3 last year.

Thank you for giving the excuses this coaching staff will use to Jerry when they tell him they deserve to keep their jobs. Your mindset is the problem with this team. You know what? Patriots were without arguably the best QB in the history of the league for 4 games last year and they went 3-1. Vikings have a lot of injuries and they still keep rolling. Why? Coaching. We have the worst staff in football. Not one of the worst. The absolute worst. We have a guy who has no idea what he's doing as HC and 2 retreads from those terrible, god awful Lions seasons. 2015 proved how bad they were. Lost one guy in Romo and the whole season collapsed.

I love how some of you think I'm giving the coaching staff a pass.

Look, I've said the coaching has been a disaster ever since BP left. Wade was WORSE at HC than Garrett is; let that sink in for a while.

But let me ask you, just what the hell do you think the FANS (that's us) can do about it? That's all on the owner pal. I just offered a reason (reasons) why Dallas couldn't hang through all four quarters. They have no quality depth to overcome the losses of some of our key starters.

...which in conjunction with the abysmal coaching staff, spells disaster.

But keep *****ing and moaning about that said coaching staff. I'm sure Jerry will hear our voices.

Again folks, this is all on the GM if no changes are made.
