All season when friends would comment on the cowboys and mention how well they’re playing and my head would respond with “as long as Dak and Jerry are here we won’t win anything.” I have been a fan long enough that my head knew a collapse was on the table. Now my heart tried a few times to get me, as recently as this week I thought about flying to Dallas for the game but my head said hold up there cowboy.

So is losing did not surprise me, but being embarrassed on national TV at home was shocking. I have zero faith in Jerry but even he needs to see that an implosion of this team is needed.

I know what you mean. We were 12-5 and I didn't even boast about the Cowboys to anyone because deep down I knew what was gonna happen in the playoffs.
I had friends of different fan bases glowing about how well the Cowboys were playing this year and I just told them until they play like that in the Postseason it doesn't matter.
They thought I was nuts.
We've been down this road so many times and it always ends the same way, why would this season be any different?

Jerry see fans blindly spending cash to support his hobby of pretending to be a GM.
Until that changes he has no need do things differently.

Fans need to stop blaming Dak. He is not the problem. The defense gave up 48 points yesterday. They gave the team no chance. I also don’t blame McCarthy. He is just another piece in the cog. New coach, new QB and the result will be the same as long as that disgusting family owns the team. The culture is toxic. I will also say this, when Jerry goes and Stevie takes over it will be worse.

A. Helps the team win.
B. Bus driver allows the team to win.
C. Is partly responsible for the loss.

Blame the league for QB salaries. That’s the trend. I say take Dak away and slot in anyone and the outcome is the same. Put Mahomes on this team and I bet they still come up short. Look at this team in the trenches. OL is soft. Gets zero push. DL is small with little depth. When your trench play sucks and it SUCKED yesterday you have no chance in the playoffs.

I'm tired of this excuse. Dak can man up and play like a beast regardless of Jerry Jones. He never does when we really need him to. That's on him. That's also on the rest of these underachievers too. Man the hell up and stop getting your doors blown off in big games.

This is true. But it is also true that Dak was awful and is always small in the playoffs. Always starts slow. This whole franchise is a living, breathing facepalm.

I think this is where a lot of fans are wrong about Jerry. He does care a lot about winning, but his version of what needs to be done may be different than a fan.

-Jerry sees 3- 12 win seasons in a row. Most successful regular season run the team has had in decades. Coaching got us there and so with some minor tweaks maybe they can put this thing together.
-The cost of starting over isn't worth throwing away this opportunity and Jerry has been more patient with coaches he likes and feels they can still deliver success. We saw it with Garrett who got a lot more time with 8-8 seasons.
-Jerry meets with Big Mike, Mike tells him what went wrong, players blew assignments, he's shocked how poorly they played, but here's what needs to happen to get back on track. Jerry's sold and gives another opportunity...

MM is the 2nd lowest paid HC in the entire NFL. The only HC making less is in Cleveland. Jerry doesn't like pay coaches at all.

Want to know why Jerry wasn't really interested in Sean Payton? Denver is paying him 18 mil and there's no way Jerry was going to do that.
