Tony Romo to St. Louis for Sam Bradford
+ exchange of 2014 #1 selections.

Dallas would get a competent QB and can draft either Manziel, Bortles or Bridgewater
St. Louis gets an immediate upgrade at QB and becomes an instant NFC W contender, and still gets a chance to select a very good player at #16.

Similar cap hits (I believe Bradford's is 17.6, Romo's 13.5 + 5mil roster bonus in 2014)

would you pull the trigger on this deal?

I don't think either team would do it. Romo's back would scare St Louis and Dallas wouldn't be getting enough for Romo.

But the main thing is Dallas would have to take a cap hit with Romo's accelerated dead money of 41.6m

Why are we trading for a young QB, only to use the draft pick on a young QB?

My neurons are misfiring after reading this.

Because Bradford is what he is at this point. A competent starter, no more no less.

good to see you totally ignored the salary cap.

SO what you are trading for is a placeholder QB in essence for a young rookie QB to replace him shortly thereafter?

All right all right the dude made a ridiculous post just move on, get over it.

Why yes, I believe I would, and throw in the kitchen sink.

wait, do you mean the #2 overall pick or the #13 pick?

Either way, no thank you....

Romo's back should scare jerry too,2 straight seasons with back surgeries is very serious.

correct.....his back, contract and age make him untradeable unfortunately. We are boned with contracts like his, Ware, etc.....thanks Jerrah
