My Luck says we are trading down

Hey, no complaining.

The Draft doesn't even start until 1 a.m. across the Pond.

The big positive is that I get Friday off because of the royal wedding. :

(I also get a day off when the queen dies, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. She's one tough goose.)

I'm so sick of the Royal Wedding stuff already. Honestly, it's a big marketing/tourist trip. The economy figures to make almost $1bn leading up and during the wedding. And they are marketing it like crazy. And I'm Indian American to top it off, so the whole thing of having "royals" is really outdated an un-American in the first place.

The problem is that they aren't showing the 1st round until the next day, so I'm going to have to tune in to the radio and, of course, cowboyszone to get live feeds.

EDIT: but i'll happily take the day off they have given us from work.

You get anytime off for the Royal Honeymoon? Glad we do not have to contend with a royal family here in the states.

I imagine it has to be pretty bad over played over there by now.
I watch BBC America because there are a few shows I like and I tell if it were not for the DVR and the ability to FF through some commercials I would be sick of it as well. I think every other commercial is about the upcoming wedding. That would get real old and real fast.

We have our own stupid distractions in the news cycles. At least they get a day off for it.

I want a day off when charlie sheen guts nuts or whoever is in a news cycle that really has no impact on most peoples lives. To the point that it gets so much coverage that other more important issues fall to the wayside.

Like you any day off is a good day just strange to take a day off for a wedding that is not your own. Then again I would hate paying the royal family seems strange to me, get a job!!!!
