Romo had all day to throw back there. Penalties aside Oline is vastly improved.

No. Brady has all day, especially when no other team like NE gets away with holding so much.

- I thought Romo looked pretty good out there. He only had a couple of bad decisions, was mostly accurate on this throws, had a few drops/catchable balls that weren't caught, and was great on third down. He seemed a little nervous about Taylor against Flozell, but otherwise played quite well IMO.

- How does a team in a city that has a lot of wealthy people residing it and has a billionaire owner still in such a crappy stadium that they share it with the baseball team? This has boggled my mind for years.

- Defense improved slightly, but they were saved by Trent Green putting in an awful performance, particularly the fumbled snap and the INT to Hamlin. Those were big and there's really no excuse for that.

- Oh my god! A blitz from Bradie up the gut where the O-Line doesn't recognize it! What a concept!

- Reeves boggles my mind as well as he'll get beat badly or look foolish and then rattle off a few good plays in a row.

- I didn't have a problem with him in the Giants game, but I'd like to see Ware get a little more active. The Fins really gameplanned for him like the Giants did, but eventually the team will need for him to make plays.

- Here's a guy we can't afford to lose to injury....Marion Barber.

- Sorry, I couldn't chart the game (thank you Charter Cable) and I didn't pay too close attention to Canty and Spears today. I did with Ratliff and I thought he played quite well.

- I'm not fully aboard yet, but Bradie James looks entirely better than last year.

- Run blocking wasn't much, of course Julius may be the Drew Bledsoe of running backs, but I thought Romo had ample protection.

- Give Flozell credit, he did have some penalties, but he practically had no problem with Taylor today. One thing I noticed is that when Romo is audibling and the playclock is running too far down, Flozell will false start.

- It's a win and a comfortable won on the road, but there's still some problems on defense I see. Next week is Chicago and if they can pull out a victory they'll be looking really good at 3-0. And the good thing about MNF is either the Eagles or Commanders lose, and if it's the Skins, Dallas has the lead in the NFC East.

Good obs, I'd add that I think it was more than a couple of drops out there...But, at least he didn't force some balls out there and get Rex Grossman on us.

Ratliff did look decent and had a very crucial pass deflection on one particular series on 3rd down in the 2nd half.

Concur on the defense and Trent Green...Green saved the day for the boys, he put in a really lame 2nd half performance and erased any chance of getting into the game...That being said, as much as the defense played better, they still weren't solid in the secondary when the ball was actually not telegraphed and delivered properly by Green.

I hope you knocked on wood when you mentioned Barber and injury, let's not even go there. :bang2:

As for Flozell, I don't know if it's the hearing loss problem or what but audibles or not, he has a problem that is not likely an issue of discipline...The guy is always going to cost the team at least a couple of false starts in a game...Hopefully, in games where they're tight, they're not gonna cost the team a crucial play...But, that might be wishful thinking.

Great to be 2-0

After re-watching the game myself, Dolphins are lucky that Henry and Hamlin dropped point blank interceptions.

I also noticed that the lack of Terry Glenn showed a little today, but Romo and his magical movements in the pocket, gave him a tad bit more time.

We really do need to put Barber out there to establish the running game early on. Every board I go to, people are talking about Barber this Barber that. Let JJ come in on third downs, where we can use his screen pass-run ability.

When we went into a 4 man rush, we basically shut down their passing game, but as long as we sent 5 or more (which we rarely sent more than 5) we were burned.

If they are going to triple team Witten, and Send safety help over the top of TO, we need Crayton/Hurd or anyone to be able to abuse these guys.

Romo is going to get a fat pay check, and this offensive line is pretty good. Hoyte is a monster blocker, he's like the non-talented runner to Barber.

When Roy came down to play Line backer in the Dime, he was completely dominant, and every time he came down into the box, he was a pure stud. Maybe his calling is at ILB.

I find it funny that after many on this board, mostly out of area guys bagged on the locals, us who go to all of the games about the crowd noise and stadium there is nothing being said about some of todays games..

the giants crowd today was pathetic, as was the dolphins. I flipped on the rams game for a little bit today and there stadium was pathetic.

The carolina fans werent exactly what I would call rowdy from what I could hear from the broadcast either.
