There was a story a couple months ago that said basically a good portion of the league is near suspension for weed. . pretty sure if u google u will see it. Its not just the weed. From the Jets fan i have spoken to, hes an all around moron as well. Just doesn't show any kind of effort from time to time as well. But like u said hes not even a FA and Short would be a much better option anyway.

alright the typo is what I was speaking to. Scrolling up is not going to help me there.

tbh I haven't watched them in two years. I watched a lot of them when we brought in Hardy and he played exclusively the 3. Star played the 1.

I am skeptical to your claim considering they had Star and Polial on their roster this past year.

I think Smoot would be a pretty big reach @28 just for the sake of trying for a DE. Unless he blows up the combine I don't think he will be a top 35 player...maybe after a trade down to pick up an extra 3rd or something.

Agree that Jones and Hall have the potential to be mid round steals. Don't know much about Stewart though, I'll have to look into him

Would love Short (or Richardson) but have very little faith in us dishing out a big contract in free agency. Fletcher Cox set a pretty big precedent for DT contract...Short isn't all that far behind. I can see him getting like 5 years $80+M

Agreed. We tend not to overspend on the interior line. Was La Roi Glover or Jason Ferguson the last guys who got decent contracts? He would be a nice upgrade just don't see it happening.
