Resign-Claiborne, Ro (I feel sick), Hanna, Bern, J.Crawford, Leary, Heath

Only resigning Ro because it seems a forgone conclusion. I would much rather bring back Hardy but that's just me.

Sign-Akiem Hicks, Colt McCoy, Mario Williams, George Iloka,

I don't see them breaking the bank for any of these guys outside of maybe Williams but this team needs line help. Hicks is a big time sleeper, who fits a 4-3 much better and was a force for the Pats down the stretch. Iloka graded out really well last year and is a consistent and solid SS, big upgrade over Church/Wilcox.

Draft

Carson Wentz is going to Cleveland sadly.

trade down to SF for #7, 68 and 4th Rd

1.Joey Bosa-I think he becomes available if the Niners go QB with the traded pick.

2.William Jackson III-I think he has Josh Norman type ability, Playmaker with terrific speed and can play any defense. Sign me up.

3.Dak Prescott, QB-I am starting to wonder if this guy doesn't go earlier, but if he doesn't I would feel comfortable taking him here as Romo's understudy.

3.(SF)Chris Jones, DT-Big, strong ascending player who could probably play either tackle spot.

4.Antonio Morrison, LB-Mean and nasty lb who I think is over his problems. Nice insurance for Ro once the inevitable year long suspension comes down.

4 (SF)-CJ Prosise, rb-He has lead back potential if he stays healthy.

4 (comp)-Malcolm Mitchell, WR-I see this guy as a Marvin Jones clone, very quick, good route runner and underrated.

Defense wins championships, this team needs to build it's depth and I think this draft/fa combo gets them closer to that type of defense.

Blast away.

Hits - Hicks, Williams, Iloka, Wil Jackson 3, Chris Jones, Malcolm Mitchell

Misses - re-signings except McClain and Hanna. McCoy, Prescott

In your off-season our two biggest adds are Joey Bosa and Mario Williams. What happens to Demarcus Lawrence? Someone good isn't starting.

After going through Weeden, Cassel, and Kellen Moore you would think the only way to go is up, but then you gave us Colt McCoy and Dak Prescott. I think Prescott is all-interview, he'll be a Garrett and Romo favorite, clubhouse guy, and then it will come time to actually play QB in the NFL and will be a complete dud. He is athletic but not enough to beat teams. His arm seems suspect and I question his ability to read through progressions.

Just not a fan at all.

I think Prescott is a player on the rise, he is a dedicated kid who loves football and is a good athlete. His accuracy has improved remarkably over the course of his college career. I think he has a chance. To me if Wentz goes #2, I am not convinced enough in Goff physically to make him the #4 overall. Rather spend it on defense and hope Romo stays upright.
