This is my first round Mock Draft. Of course just my opinion. We will see how close I am tomorrow.

-Tampa Bay-Jameis Winston- NFL ready and in my opinion going to be a player. Tampa needs this QB to finally solidify the position.

-Tennesee-Trade to Cleveland-Marcus Mariota-I know this seems weird considering they just drafted Johnny Football last season, but I think Tennessee sticks with Mettenberger and moves down to Cleveland’s 12th spot.

-Jacksonville-Leonard Williams-This man’s talent is too hard to pass up for Jacksonville. I have no doubt this is their pick

-Oakland-Amari Cooper-The Raiders love the skill positions and would love a big WR like Cooper to give Carr a big end zone target.

-Washington-Dante Fowler-Commanders shored up a lot of holes along the line in free agency so far, pairing Fowler with Jernigan could make for an awesome pass rush.

-New York Jets-Brandon Scherff-This is a big tackle who could be moved to guard to help whoever they have starting at QB next season. Personally this is the safe pick.

-Chicago-Kevin White. Losing Brandon Marshall will impact the Bears pretty badly and they need to fix that immediately. White fills that void and takes the pressure off of Jeffery, with Bennett apparently on the block as well, it just makes sense.

-Atlanta-Alvin Dupree-Too me it’s amazing to see a talent like Dupree slide down this far, but with their offense being very good I don’t see them passing up on this player.

-New York Giants-La’el Collins-The Giants offensive line last season was horrendous. This is the obvious pick for me.

-St Louis-Andrus Peat-With their defense already looking like it could be one of the best in the league, protection for whoever their QB is this season is a must.

-Minnesota-Trae Waynes-The Vikings desperately need a corner and I think this is who they will draft. If one of the top corners in the draft falls to you, you take him.

-Tennessee via Cleveland-Danny Shelton-I Tennessee goes defense here, and Shelton is a great pick.

-New Orleans-Vic Beasely- With this team no one knows what’s going to happen, as evidenced in the offseason so far. With that being said, the fact Rob Ryan still has a job, I believe he will get to pick a shiny toy for his defense, and it will be Beasely.

-Miami-DeVante Parker-After losing Mike Wallace I think they go WR here. Parker is a great pick at this point in the draft.

-San Francisco-Byron Jones-In all honesty this is a guess, they have holes on defense and on offense, I think getting a corner of Jones’ quality at this spot is great value and fixes a need.

-Houston-Randy Gregory-With this team all bets are off, but with Foster coming back the way he did last season, I see them going defense, and if Gregory pans out the way he is graded, him and Watt could grow to form one of the best pass rush duos we have seen in a long time, maybe ever.

-San Diego-Todd Gurley-This is a hard pick. Most people have them going RB in the first, but Oliver emerged as a very capable back last season. So I don’t know if they will pull the trigger. If they do, they will be going after Gurley. It’s hard to pass up the number one RB prospect on the board.

-Kansas City-Jalen Collins-I think they go corner here. A lot of people have them going WR which doesn’t really make sense after how much they paid Maclin.

-Cleveland-Breshad Perriman-With everything going on with Josh Gordon, and the pickup of Mariota I see them going WR here, it just makes sense.

-Philadelphia-Kevin Johnson-They really don’t have a choice here. With the receivers they face in the division alone, and how bad their secondary was last year they need a corner to cover the likes of Bryant, Beckham, Jackson and so on.

-Cincinnati-Ereck Flowers-The Bengals already have a formidable defense, keeping Dalton on his feet, that’s been a little bit of a problem. They go OL here and get a great one in Flowers.

-Pittsburgh-Landon Collins-Polamalu retired. Their obvious need is safety and they get one of the top 3 talents here.

-Detroit-Malcom Brown-Suh and Fairley both gone. This is a must for the Lions. Brown is a beast, and they need someone there to at least try to make up for the talent lost.

-Arizona-Shane Ray-Drugs will kill your draft position, that’s the only reason Ray is even available here. The Cardinals take Ray just because he is there, and he makes that defense look even more terrifying.

-Carolina-D.J Humphries-What else can I say about this pick. When a QB of Newton’s talents is sacked as much as he was last season, I think OL is the only pick here.

-Baltimore-Phillip Dorsett-As of right now, I couldn’t even name who will be catching passes from Flacco next season. Dorsett is lightning fast with great hands and quick routes. He is the pick here.

-Dallas Cowboys-Melvin Gordon-I originally predicted a trade down here and going after Tavin Coleman, I had to change my reasoning. Gordon is a great back, who broke the single season record in college. Dallas has to replace Murray, and this is how I see it being done.

-Denver-Cedric Ogbuehi-Keeping Manning healthy is the only option for the Broncos to have a chance this season. With Kubiak coming in as well, and his love for zone blocking this is the pick.

-Indianapolis-Damarious Randall-Shoring up the secondary is really all that’s left for the colts at this point. They have made their team into a serious contender for the superbowl next year, and this pick just adds to that.

-Green Bay-Jordan Phillips-Green Bay had some trouble getting to the QB last year as opposed to the past years. This man helps to fix that problem.

-New Orleans via Seattle-Jake Fisher-Protecting Brees is an absolute must. Brees looked way out of his depth last season and was left running for his life at times. Fisher is the safe pick to come in and help immediately.

-New England-Cameron Erving-This is just a safe pick, first center off the board, and will be a good depth guy for the pats, and he will be starting in year 2.

Nice work. I know something like this takes time and I appreciate your contribution.

I do think at some point if Gordon or Gurley (or some other player) Dallas likes falls far enough, they'll have deals in place to move up. In this case I think they'd move up for Gordon with a 3rd or 4th before he fell to them, but to "keep the powder dry" and have him get to us at 27 would make the whole draft for me.mi think he's a top-10 player in this draft and a RKG through and through.

Gordon did not break the single season record. Barry still owns that. If that's how it shakes out I'll take it, but we better not get cute in round 2. We need more beef.
