My mock v.3

Most of the team needing S are behind Dallas. Think James has a real possibility to be there, he could go 15 to AZ so i could see Dallas trying to trade up to 14.

On Hurst, i dont think you realize his size restrictions, and the scheme fit and lack of teams who use that scheme. If you dont run a 4-3 with focuses more on a up push in your inside rushers you arent even looking at Hurst. Dallas, Tampa, Maybe NE, Jacksonville maybe Atlanta. which nis why i said i could see Dallas trading up if it made sense.
Tampa Bay is gonna scarf up James.

I see no way the Skins would go with Vea over James. They haven't had a decent secondary in a long time, either.

Love the Freeman pick. I think he's being vastly underrated.

How convienient
There's literally a higher probabilry of Hurst going 19 than James
Yet we get Both
Uh, ok
:dance:Sweet

Never say never

After seeing Hooker fall as far as he did last year, I wouldn’t rule James out. He was thought as a lock top 10 pick the entire pre draft process. In fact in the draft chat, people were going nuts wanting the Cowboys to trade up for him.

Now I still don’t think it’s likely James falls far enough, but it doesn’t seem to be a completely unsubstantiated thought.

Round 1

1. Browns - Sam Darnold QB USC
2. Giants - Josh Allen QB Wyoming
3. Jets - Josh Rosen QB UCLA
4. Browns - Saquon Barkley RB Penn State
5. Broncos - Quenton Nelson G Notre Dame
6. Colts - Bradley Chubb DE NC State
7. Bucs - Minkah Fitzpatrick S Bama
8. Bears - Denzel Ward CB Ohio State
9. Niners - TRADE with Washington - Tramaine Edmunds LB Virginia Tech
10. Raiders - Vita Vea DT Washington
11. Dolphins - Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma
12. Bills - Lamar Jackson QB Louisville
13. Niners - Calvin Ridley WR Bama
14. Packers - Mike Hughes CB Central Florida
15. Cardinals - Mike McGlinchey T Notre Dame
16. Ravens - Marcus Davenport DE Texas San Antonio
17. Chargers - DaRon Payne DT Bama
18. Seahawks - Trade with Bengals - Roquan Smith LB Georgia
19. Cowboys - Derwin James S Florida State
Dallas gets the S they been looking for since Darren Woodson. Big, and fast with the play making ability the team thought they were getting with Byron Jones. Dallas turns a big weakness in 2016 into one of the best up and coming secondaries in 2018.

Round 2
Maurice Hurst DT Michigan
Think he's going to drop a little because of size and because of the heart issue. Dallas might have to trade up but i think they would if they had to. With the amount of substitutions the team does it makes alot of sense to stock pile more pass rushers inside.

Round 3
Josey Jewell LB Iowa
Smart player who could shine at ST to start his career and learn from Lee in a limited 2 down role. Then come on and take over a primary role when Lee moves on. Provides insurance for LB depth too.

Dallas trade Cole Beasley and its RD5 comp pick to NE for their RD3 pick.
Round 3
Dallas picks Dante Pettis WR Washington
Dallas sends Beasley to a place where he would fit with his size restrictions, and adds a whole lot of speed that can take over the slot and Kick return duties.

Round 4
Darius Leonard LB South Carolina St
More depth and speed to a core that needs it.

Round 4 COMP
Royce Freeman RB Oregon
Big back that can do it all.

Round 6(SEA)
Cole Madison G Washington State
Type of G Dallas likes, strong and athletic enough to pull and get to them DBs

Round 6
Antonio Callaway WR Florida
On the pre draft visit list. If he could get his head on straight he could be a serious addition. Little risk high reward here.

Round 6 COMP
Desmond Harrison T W Georgia
Brought in for pre draft invite. Could be something to S Jones talking about Dallas needs to add depth to the OL in the later rounds for development

Round 7
Justin Lawler DE SMU
Another Draft visit.

MY 2018 starting lineup

I would take that draft with one minor change, Pettis in the 3rd, would rather pick Anthony Miller who should also be there.

I agree.
Although I think James dropping to 19 is a bit far-fetched, its not inconceivable.
Now Hurst falling all tne way to 50? Now THAT seems way out of lone.

good thing i have washington going with a LBer, while the raiders going with Vea.
