What a trip. As someone who seems to constantly see some goofy things, that one is a winner.

I will say big deal though. We have a Mod who is a bank robber. :D

Reward increased for fugitive wanted in 1983 robbery

Age-enhanced FBI photo of Victor Gerena

(New Haven-WTNH, Dec. 7, 2004 2:50 PM) _ There is new information this afternoon in the hunt for one of the FBI's ten most-wanted fugitives. Victor Gerena is wanted in connection with a $7 million dollar robbery in West Hartford.

by News Channel 8's Erin Cox
This is the largest reward ever offered for a Connecticut fugitive.

Victor Gerena has been on the FBI’s list of top ten most-wanted fugitives for over 20 years. They are hoping with this increased reward they'll get some new information about his whereabouts.

Victor Gerena is wanted in connection with the September 1983 robbery of a Wells Fargo depot in West Hartford. He was working as a guard when he was able to organize and orchestrate ripping off $7 million.

FBI officials say he was acting for the Puerto Rican nationalist group Los Macheteros, which is working for the freedom of Puerto Rico.

They have released a new age-enhanced photo of what Gerena may look like today. They say Gerena is now on the list with Osama bin Laden, and they are the only two terrorists who are still at-large.

“The only two individuals on the top ten who have alleged affiliations with terrorist organizations that have not been captured,” says Michael Wolf, FBI Agent.

“Mr. Gerena was a pioneer in terrorist fundraising, but he predated the Internet so he did it the old fashioned way—by an armored car robbery. But the end result was the same – it was to raise money for terrorist activities that have maimed or killed U.S. citizens and our allies,“ says Kevin O'Connor, CT US Attorney.

So where is Victor Genera? FBI officials said in the press conference today that they thought Gerena was in Mexico, they've heard he’s been in Cuba, maybe he’s back in the United States. They are really hoping this publicity will turn up the heat on this case.

If he’s in Cuba, how could this publicity help catch him there? News Channel 8 asked the special agent in charge who said they plan to get the information into Havana tomorrow. When asked how they plan to do it, he replied, “Oh, I can't tell you that.”

New England Vice President of Player Personnel Scott Pioli will be inducted into the Central Connecticut State University Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, May 13. Pioli is one of three members in the class of 2005.

Pioli was a starter for three-plus seasons at defensive tackle for the Blue Devils. A 1998 graduate, he was a three-time All-New England selection and was named the team's defensive MVP in 1985. He finished his career with 222 tackles and 22 sacks. The Washingtonville, NY native was the first-ever winner of Central's Frank Marietta Award for leadership and is a CCSU Young Alumni Award winner.

"Scott has been second to none in building and managing our personnel department since 2000," New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick said in a statement. "Our success is a direct reflection of Scott's performance, which starts with his love for the game and is carried out through his vision and his competitiveness. He is a man of integrity and one of my best friends."

Pioli joined the Patriots on Feb. 10, 2000. He began his NFL career as a pro personnel assistant on Belichick's staff with the Cleveland Browns in 1992. He was promoted to director of pro personnel when the franchise moved to Baltimore in 1996, and spent one season with the Ravens before he was hired by Belichick as the director of pro personnel with the New York Jets in 1997.

On Wednesday, Pioli was awarded the George Young NFL Executive of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.

Pioli was a stud DT in this era at CCSU

Not that it's a contest, but I've got you beat WV.

I dated this woman in 90'-91'.

Fannin County Grand Jury Report said:
At 10:45 p.m. on July 11, a Fannin County jury returned a sentence of confinement to 55 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison against both Louie Matthew Hankey and Saronna Michelle Little for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

Mr. Hankey, 27 and Ms. Little, 34 were each convicted of sexually assaulting a 13 year old babysitter during the summer of 2001. The evidence showed that Ms. Little locked the female victim in a bedroom to prevent her escape, then held the babysitter down while Mr. Hankey assaulted her. Their cases were tried together because each was a party to the same crime. "It presents a challenge to try two criminal defendants together," said Fannin County District Attorney Richard Glaser. "That and a few other facts about this case presented a demanding task for jurors and our office is pleased that they were able to sift through all the evidence and render their verdict."

She was 17 and very hot when I first started hittin it. She eventually got a job stripping at "The Million Dollar Saloon." I couldn't deal with that. She's got 4-5 kids now. She's butt ugly and total trash. But I got it when it was.......:D

I don't feel sorry at all for her. Not only for what she did, but also all the crap she put me thru. One night, I was sitting in my living room about 11pm or so. I look over at the sliding glass door to my immediate right, and there she is just staring at me from outside. Did I mention she's crazy? At least her kids are better off now.
