1) The defense played well especially considering we were missing our top 3 CB's for a lot of the game. I am looking forward to seeing this D in action this season.
2) I am not usually down on Romo however he has to learn to protect the football if he is going to run with it and he should have never thrown to Dez (on the interception) when he is being covered by the best CB in the game and was clearly less than 100%.
3) Running Choice on third and one was a stupid move by Garret with a young o-line and the fact that they were stuffing the run all night. A quick short pass would have been much better.
4) How do you let a punt get blocked from the middle? I am quite sure coach Joe will let them have it this week.
5) The PI call call on Witten was ticky tacky
6) Dez is going to have a monster season however he needs to take in more electrolytes and fluids before the game to avoid cramps. He became more of a liability than a weapon after the first quarter.
7) Garrett has got to get the play in sooner. The delay of game calls are ridiculous. On 95+ % of our plays we are snapping the ball as the clock hits zero.
8) Our young o-line played pretty well considering who they were playing. Romo had quite a bit a time on most plays. T. Smith played well however he needs to work on the false starts.
9) What is up with our glass CB's?
10) Sean Lee had a very good game!!!!
11) I feel much more confident with Phillips as our second TE than I have ever felt with Bennett.
12) Our defense looks further along than most people thought!!!!!!! I can't wait for our glass CB's to get back healthy.
13) We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in this one however our play gives me a lot of optimism for the season. Let's face it we beat ourselves tonight in a game most people expected to get blown out in.

(Edit) One more thought. Our injuries in the secondary seemed to limit our blitzing. We were not getting near the pressure on Sanchez after Scandric went down. I am quite sure that changed the way R. Ryan was calling the game.

Nice summary.

Run D was much stouter than pre-season suggested.
Ogletree made a couple decent 3rd down receptions for firsts, but seems the coaches do NOT Trust our WR's beyond Dez/Miles.
Sean Lee was more than impressive.
I think Felix still looks good despite not great stats.
Too bad they let this one slip away. Till 4th quarter they DESERVED to win, and win handily.

I still don't know where that came from. I guess it is technically in the rule book but that was such an accident I don't know what else to say. Cromartie was out of position and that was his fault. It wasn't like Witten intentionally was try to clip Cromartie. I think in that situation the ref needs to let that go.

Considering they let all the defensive secondary contact go(for both teams) calling that on Witten was absurd.

Electrolytes don't prevent pulled or strained hamstrings.

Does Dez have a strained hamstring? The announcer kept saying he was having cramps and even said he got an IV at one point. Now he may have been having cramps in his hamstring area however I seriously doubt they would have let him keep playing with a strained hamstring.
