Thank you Executioner Goodel, now WE need DE more than anything so with that. using First-pick.com

Trade with Washington, Washington gets our 27th pic and we get there 2nd, 3rd, 4th round picks:

Round 2 Pick 6 (WASH): Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE/OLB, UCLA (B+)
Gred Hardy MUST HAVE pick
Round 2 Pick 28: T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama (B+)
MUST HAVE NO MORE MURRAY so i had to reach a little
Round 3 Pick 5 (WASH): Cody Prewitt, FS, Ole Miss (C+)
I think Carr will turn the corner and with Mo coming back lets get a real FS, needs to work on tackling.
Round 3 Pick 27: Frank Clark, DE/OLB, Michigan (B)
Hardy Clone hopefully we will get the production out of him and OO that we will be missing with Hardy gone for 10 weeks.
Round 4 Pick 6 (WASH): Alex Carter, CB, Stanford (B)
Mo and Carr might be done after this year with the Cowboys Insurance
Round 4 Pick 28: Ben Heeney, ILB, Kansas (A)
Dude is a tackling machine and can cover a lot of ground.. last year we had a nice 4th rd LB lets do it 2 yrs in a row.
Round 5 Pick 27: Shane Carden, QB, East Carolina (D-)
watching a lot of tape on this guy really reminds me of Romo
Round 7 Pick 19: Andrew Donnal, OT, Iowa (A+)
Swing tackle need to replace hole left by Parnell
Round 7 Pick 26: Cameron Clear, TE, Texas A&M (B)
Witten is not going to be here forever, not to say he's going to replace him but we have to fill holes when people leave.

I knew these would be coming after the Hardy announcement.

Like the first 5 picks alot. I wouldnt pick Prewitt with the 5th pick in round 3 tho. He's not going to get much playing time. Heath played decent in packages last yr and i prewitt wont start.

Think you could trade down a little pick up another pick and get clark. I dont think he lasts until the end of round 3

Pretty good I just don't care much for oo though he may end up a pro bowler I don't see him as a top talent. Jmo though. However I don't see much more of an option at de though so........

Either side.

Hardy, Mincey and Lawrence can all play the strong side.

Lawrence was horrible there, couldnt stand up to the double team. You have all-22. Go look at the first 2 games he was back.

Mincey is a JAG.

Hardy will be out.

I know alot of you on here are a hardon for Mincey because he had a nice playoffs. But he was bad during the reg season. All the DEs were bad.

Lawrence is a rookie who missed training camp and got better as the year progressed. In spite of the setbacks he faced, he started making his presence felt in the playoffs.

Expect to see a much improved player this year.

Also... Mincey is a JAG? Really bro?
I'd understand if you said Hayden, but Mincey is a solid player.

I just think you can get a SDE with limited pass rushing ability in other ways or later in the draft. To project OO as being any better at getting to the QB than Lawrence was this season is a real stretch. Clamoring about Lawrence in his "first two games back" is a blatant disservice as well.

Let's ignore any progress the guy made and overreact to his first real playing time in the NFL...

Sounds like a great way to evaluate talent.

Agreed.

No need to overreact.

Desperation/overreach mock

Of course.

It becomes a "Shante Carver" draft.

Everyone knew Hardy was going to be gone for some games, and we're still not sure how many games he's going to be gone.

At some point a SDE was probably going to be drafted by the Cowboys, but you don't force it in round 1.

Bottom line your draft doesn't change.

yes no need to say D-Law is not going to be good but we have a lot of FA next year:
2016 FA:
Greg HardyDE26DALTBD$3,217,850UFA
Jeremy MinceyDE31DALTBD$1,750,000UFA
Jack CrawfordDE26DALTBD$660,000UFA
Tyrone CrawfordDE/DT25DALTBD$828,813UFA

thats 3 productive guys and 1 rotation guy we might need to replace.

On top of that Carr and Claiborne will probably both be gone.

Again you can't hope to replace all those guys in with 7 draft picks.

You let the draft come to you and don't force picks or you end up taking guys earlier than you should which results in a drop in talent compared to other teams who are taking the better players that you didn't take.

If Gurley and Gordon are gone at 27, I fully expect CB to be the pick. I honestly believe it will be RB and CB in Rd 1 and 2, though not necessarily in that order. Dallas has a habit of filling next years holes with this years picks and CB lines up with that thinking perfectly.

Forget about Frank Clark after this. No way Dallas touches him.
