Mincey is a JAG.

Hardy will be out.

I know alot of you on here are a hardon for Mincey because he had a nice playoffs. But he was bad during the reg season. All the DEs were bad.

I don't see that in either of his 1st two games back (week 9 and 10). His 1st snaps from the Strong Side was about 1 inch from being a sack. He was generally on the Weak Side other than that play.

Whether Mincey is great or a Jag does not really impact the discussion of Strong Side or Weak Side. Same with Hardy.

The Weak Side DE is the most difficult to find for this defense. It should be the priority if there is a choice.

Forget about Frank Clark after this. No way Dallas touches him.

I actually think the opposite could be true. They're already taking the PR hit for Hardy, so maybe adding another DV player can go into the PR spin about 2nd chances and what not. They've brought him in and are bringing/brought DGB in so I definitely think they are at least considering these players.

If Gurley and Gordon are gone at 27, I fully expect CB to be the pick. I honestly believe it will be RB and CB in Rd 1 and 2, though not necessarily in that order. Dallas has a habit of filling next years holes with this years picks and CB lines up with that thinking perfectly.

I think those two positions are most likely at 1 & 2.

Neither is a candidate for the weak-side DE spot.

And it could be argued that neither is all that hot a pass rusher as a strong-side DE either.

I think MEjr. is better suited as a 3-4 DE and Flowers looks like a "Mincey" kind of DE to me, i.e. better vs the run than rushing the passer.

Not to the tee for sure.
They fall apart somewhat once you get into the the top 8 picks or so....especially if an expected franchise QB is involved.

Otherwise, they hold up unbelievably well...especially if you throw out Jerry...lol.
He tends to throw the other team a bone to be sure he gets the spot he wants.

Try it sometime. Look up trades involving players from anywhere between pick 15 and 200.
You'll be shocked how accurate it is. Usually 90-98% accurate.
So 640 for 700 would even be a bit out there.

So, if they don't use that exact chart (which could be true like Polian said) they use something very,very close to it.
