My one concern

The Cowboys are now immersed in a culture of losing. Their only hope for changing this culture is to bring in a new GM. Jerry Jones must completely detach himself from personnel decisions and the daily operations of the franchise, confine his role to marketing, and give the new GM complete power over the front office as well as all matters pertaining to player evaluation and selection.

Dream on. Jerry ain't gonna bring in a new GM. My guess is that the next 13 years are going to be a lot like the last 13 years.

As I said in another thread, some teams develop a killer instinct; this one seems to have developed a suicide instinct.

I'm not sure it needs to be a Big Bill type of HC, but it sure needs to be someone that the players respect.

I am also reminded of the quote - The legendary golfer Gary Player once said, “The more I practice, the luckier I get.” Gary also used all of his golfing equipment to practice. A strange concept at VR at the moemnt.

Of course it does not have to be a Big Bill type but we still need a coach to instill discipline. Being on time to meetings, practice and everything else that goes along with that. It does not have to be a screamer or a yeller just a guy that demands from his players and earn their respect that he is in charge.

Until we bring a QB that will give Romo some competition at QB, the team will continue to lose the bigger games. As Tony D. stated here is a guy who has already been tagged as a great player, yet has done nothing for it.

Romo needs a Curt Warner, or a Brett Favre sitting behind him who is more than willing to take his job.

The problem is the team is used to losing now, very hard to change that mindset.

Only a new HC can do it, Wade is a joke.

A new head coach is only going to be someone else that Jerry can manipulate like a puppet; it's not really going to change anything.

A strong coach will not work for Jerry and Jerry wouldn't hire a strong coach anyway - he has to be the one and only one making all the decisions and he won't share the glory with anyone else. Of course, he hasn't had much glory to hog all to himself lately but that's a minor detail.
